Good morning my question do you take Medicade my adopted son bad bumps on the back of his head can I make a appointment if you take medicade?

Dr Paula Lapinski, in my view, is one of the best Doctors in the in the industry. She is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, highly skilled, easy to communicate with, and took the time to address all my questions about the procedure I was going to experience. I refer her to any patient who requires an expert dermatologist.

I have been living in Joliet for over 25 years. I have been to Pinnacle Dermatology, Dr Paula Lapinski's office numerous times, and NEVER ONCE have I met her. They usually push you off to a Physician Assistant who tries to manage your care. I have never had satisfactory results from the PAs. I have taken my children there for acne, eczema, warts, and I have even gone there myself for treatment and never once was the problem handled in such a way that I felt was satisfactory. I am a health professional myself and I ended up seeking help elsewhere in every case with much better care and results. Why did I go back so many times? For convenience of location, and I felt I should give them another chance as usually I had been away for a couple of years and hoped the situation was improved. I learned my lesson when a staff member, called me to give me my lab results and told me they were just fine. I asked for the actual report and my jaw dropped to the ground. When I questioned the person telling me it was fine, I asked if the doc had seen it, they paused for a few seconds and then said "yeah". Really? When I went to my own primary doc, he treated me for abnormal blood work, that was causing my condition. Incompetence. I also want to mention, when I took my kids to another dermatologist, we met with a DOCTOR, not a Physician Assistant. Every time.

She is the only dermatologist to accurately diagnose and treat my chronic skin condition. My quality of life is greatly improved because of her. Thank you Dr. Lapinski!

I have been to this practice 5 times and have never seen an MD. The pa took a slice from the bridge of my nose and another from my arm. She also did a punch biopsy in my midriff and one in my abdomen. I am amazed at the scarring on all 4 spots. As a dermatology and plastic surgery practice, I am in worse shape after this practice took chunks out of me. PS. All chunks were negative.

After being treated by Dr. L's physician assistants (PA's) for 16 months, with no results,and several surgical procedures, I finally found a qualified physician who actually sees her patients. I learned that my condition was misdiagnosed. But again, never saw the M.D.!! I finally saw a physician from the University of Chicago and got on a real treatment plan. Lesson learned- do your research.

Dr. Lipinski lacks compassion & knowledge. If you have a nice neat little cancerous growth, then maybe you will be treated efficiently. With the exception of her nurses and office staff, arrogance and being judgemental is what Dr. Lipinski is good at. Dr. Lapinski has been treating myself and my family for over 5 years. She is outstanding. She was able to cure my sons warts when two other doctors couldn't. She is warm and welcoming. She makes sure that you fully understand her procedures/ prognosis, and takes her time to answer any concerns or questions you may have. I have confidently referred friends to her, and they always end up having a positive experience. There needs to be more doctors like her.......

Unfortunately I didn't even get to see Dr. Paula Lapinski. Her staff was so rude and unhelpful on the phone I couldn't bring myself to make an appointment. I suggest she looks into replacing some staff members before she loses more prospective patients.
