I wouldn't let this man do a colonoscopy on my dog. He sent me through three colonoscopies and at the end goes there's nothing wrong. Then for 3 and 1/2 years he misdiagnosed my wife with what he said was esophageal spasms which turned out to be gallbladder problems. Wound up in the hospital in the emergency room with gall stones and sludge and to have her gallbladder removed. He misdiagnosed us for 3 years. Never came in and spent more than 2 minutes listening to you and he looked like he was bored. Listening to you. Find another doctor. Doing a thing here

I haven't thank Dr yet. My husband had a long journey. Unfortunately his was predetermined. Dr Atassi was always there for him. I could call anytime and he would be there for my husband. Words cannot describe the relief for my husband.

I have been a patient of Dr. Atassi for the past year and am very pleased with his knowledge. He has always been very helpful, and recently performed my colonoscopy. I recommend him highly. Also, his office staff, Teri, is one of the nicest front office workers I have encountered, making the beginning process very helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Atassi.

I recently had the pleasure of being assigned to Dr. Tamer Atassi at Bolingbrook Adventist Hospital regarding what I thought was gastritis, but Dr. Atassi was able to diagnose a tumor on my intestines which was causing internal bleeding and thankfully turned out to be benign. He worked closely with the surgeon regarding my problem and in the end the tumor was safely removed and all is well with me. My hospital stay was a two week visit and in that time before and after surgery, Dr Atassi visited me multiple times keeping me informed of how things were progressing. He is very professional and knowledgeable in his field which led me to have the utmost confidence in him while being under his care. Many thanks to Dr Atassi for all his work in resolving my medical issue.

This doctor is TRASH .. if you want to go home and almost loose ur life and have DRAINAGE BAGS HANGING OUT of YOUR BODY then this is the doctor for you. He isn’t honest and will lie to your face! He did 2 procedures to remove my sister gall bladder and his knowledge was zero.. she could’ve had a laser procedure and been done with the whole entire hospital stays she ended up having seizure s and near dying.. GOOD LUCK TO WHOMEVER GOES UNDER A KNIFE WITH THIS DOCTOR!

Dr Atassi performed a colonoscopy in 2008. He claimed I had polyps. I was in a different practice and it was recommended that I have another one in 2014. I tried numerous times to get my medical records from Atassis office and no one would help me. Current gastroenterology doctor found no polyps in 2014. Since Dr Atassis office was so uncooperative, perhaps he falsified my report. I would really double check this doctor.
