I've been seeing Dr. Setlur since I had my 1st child and he's 16 now. I've always received nothing but the best care and advice from Dr. Setlur. Her staff is always kind and responsive. She truly cares about her patients and is so down to earth and easy to talk to.

She has taken wonderful care of both of my girls since they were premies. Her bedside manner is great as is her entire staff.

Absolutely terrible! The worst bedside manner, never again!

I absolutely LOVE HER!!!! She is the best in Joliet and the surrounding area. I have had issues with other pediatricians, and I legit love her! 1. She does not rush through appointments. She will ask if you have any questions or concerns. She is full of knowledge on whatever you do bring up. She genuinely cares about your child. 2. Her office staff is amazing! Its the same personnel here since i have been going these last few years. They are always in a good mood, very helpful, and really nice to the kids. 3. Her office hours are for working adults! She has a later day shift and open some Saturdays. 4. If you need to do a walk in because your child came down with something she will always try her best to fit you in that same day. 5. Your wait time is not long. Even during physical time, she still does not have you waiting for hours. I have heard of pediatricians who you would have to bring in multiple snacks to make it through the scheduled time! This is not one of those places. Dr Setlur has a positive and realistic attitude. She will try to give you tips to make things easier, and little work arounds. She will explain her ideas and suggestions. She keeps good information on your child. I'm talking about growth graphs and paperwork. I had to deal with another pediatrician while a stay at Silver Cross with my newborn, and she talked in circles, was very negative, and admitted that some of their information was incorrect because they found a flaw in their system. She gave me the option to admit my son into special care there, or discharge him and follow up with Dr Setlur and hope for the best. It wasnt even an option or discussion....I went to Dr Setlur the next day! I have not had one negative experience with her or her staff!

My child has been here since she was born. At first I felt she was sincere although she is old she lacks experience. She rather underdiagnose than give referrals for actual medical concerns. Her staff is undertrained and always loses appointments and medication records. Nothing is electronic so they search through a book for factual information about patient. They dont make you feel comfortable new staff every month. Rushes you through visits but takes forever to see you. She is an old lady with no support in her office.

Very poor service. Staff is undertrained and plain rude. The doctor is an older person who doesn't believe in giving scripts for medication, or referrals. Rather you go to the hospital. Doesn't refill medications wants child to be seen in person. Misdiagnosed my child twice wouldn't give referral to specialist. Nurses quit often high turnover rate in office. No sincere connection with doctor or staff.

We love Dr Setlur

Dr Setlur was my pediatrician as a younger girl. When choosing a doctor for our daughter Dr Setlur was on the list the hospital provided us to look through. We couldn't be happier! She is so patient and takes the time with us every single appointment. You are never rushed in and out and have plenty of time to address any concerns you have with your child's development/health. When I've needed to get in right away for a mommy 'emergency' (this is our first baby) I've always called and been invited to come right in. We know we chose the best doctor for our little girl in choosing Dr Setlur. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a pediatrician.
