Very disappointed. I previously saw Dr. Berk and his remedy was only partially successful. Over a year later, I had another issue and reluctantly went to see him. His remedy was not successful at all so I called the office and related the issue to the desk woman, asking if he could prescribe something else or should I come in to see him. She said she would have one of the medical staff contact me. No one called me. After two days, I called again and left a message requesting a call back. After one week, no one ever called. I will be returning to a previous dermatologist which is disappointing since Dr. Berk is very close to my home. Since his remedies don't work and there is absolutely no follow up, I would not recommend him or that office.
Dr Berk has been my family’s dermatologist for at least 20 years. He is always so kind with a great demeanor. ..:And he never tries to push his cosmetic stuff on us like other dermis.
This office is a total mess. Totally unorganized and unprofessional. They fail at every level. They forget to renew life saving refills and cause unnecessary waiting for months without informing the patient. Horrible . Every single person there is stupid and ignorant.
I came for my semiannual visit. No issue with waiting time. The staff was very pleasant. Dr. Berk came in checked me out. I point a spot on my head that should be looked at it - Dr. berk said - I can take it out. Upon finishing the exam, it felt like he couldn't wait to get out of the room. Few days later, I got a call from a nurse in the office, NOT Dr. Berk, to notify me that they found cancer and I need a surgery. The nurse was short on explanation and options. She referred me to a surgeon who could see me in 6 weeks (!). After consultation with my primary doctor I decided to use a different surgeon who was able to schedule a surgery in 2 weeks. I called Dr. berk's office to fax the info to my surgeon. I had to call 3 times to have the complete file sent. My surgeon's office informed me that they are still missing the pathology report. I drove to Dr. berk's office to pick it up and hand deliver it to my surgeon. On the day of the surgery, my surgeon told me Dr. Berk's paperwork has NO pictures and or information on the exact location of where the spot to operate. I had my own pictures of the area which I shared with the surgeon. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO Dr. BERK.
If you are looking to wait a half hour in a waiting room to be taken back to an examination room to wait another half hour to see Dr. Berk - than this is your guy. On top of that his nurse/assistant is rude. I left the office without seeing Dr. Berk. I too have time commitments. I heard multiple patients check-in for the same appointment time (mine being one of them). He double and triple books for his selfish convenience. That's simply inconsiderate. When I left his office the waiting area had at least 10 people waiting. I am /was a patient of his - however not any longer. I understand there are emergencies...but this Doctor creates the waiting problem. Stay away unless you enjoy waiting around and have nothing else to do.

He is a good dermatologist, knows what he is doing. Took off some lesions, took about 20 minutes. $1200 with insurance (still on deductible). Still paying bill 8 months later.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
