The staff at Athletico on Lakewood Road in Lake in the Hills with Susan Anderson is fantastic. Everyone is very professional and extremely nice. Susan is very knowledgeable about her field, organized, and works efficiently. The staff makes your visits enjoyable and friendly. Highly recommend the care you will receive at this location.

I originally went to see Susan and her staff after a knee replacement, at the recommendation of my regular physician, who began her career as a physical therapist. From the first meeting, I really got the sense that Susan and her staff really cared about my situation, and were entirely focused on helping me heal and regain as much flexibility and strength as I had before the surgery. Not only were we able to meet my goals a couple of weeks ahead of the original schedule, but I believe I ended up better than before the surgery! Susan helped me identify and correct a years-old problem with my walking gait from the years of pain before the surgery. Fast forward a couple of years, and I was back in her office trying to find a non-surgical remedy to severe neck pain and headaches that nothing else cured. The eventual solution was surgery, but she kept me as comfortable as possible while the insurance company played their games. Now I’m back after surgery, and again recovering faster and with greater mobility than I expected. I would recommend Susan and her staff 100% to anyone who wants sincere, dedicated treatment, and not just “going through the motions “ that I have experienced with other therapy providers. The offices are modern, spotlessly clean, and always very pleasant to deal with. They have become more than therapists - I actually consider them friends. John Tapp Lakewood, IL

The staff at Athletico in Lakewood are outstanding! Susan and Terri are kind, compassionate, professional, and caring. Susan is a great Physical Therapist. The facility is well run, clean, and comfortable. Natalia is very helpful, and professional.

My experience with Athletico was all good. When I called, Terri explained everything I needed to know and I felt safety was very important. The facility was not crowded, masks were worn and cleaning occurred after each patient. The staff was very knowlegable and compassionate. My symptoms were evaluated by Susan the Physical Therapist and she was able to help me immediately. The treatment went well and Susan taught me the importance of adjusting my habits and how to continue exercises at home. I feel ever so much better and I'm very grateful to Susan and the staff at Athletico in Lakewood.

THIS IS THE PLACE YOU SHOULD GO!!! This Athletico is an excellent physical therapy location. The staff is top notch and the facility itself is super clean and welcoming. Jacquelyn, my wonderful PT, helped me with a cheerful and encouraging demeanor gain back my range of motion and strength after my shoulder surgery. Each step of the way she made certain I was comfortable and informed me of what exercises were being done. She also always took the time to explain why we were doing different exercises and answer any questions I had along the way. She patiently instructed me on how to do excercises from home when I arrived at that point and went over the instructions multiple times if need be. To say that she was a ray of sunshine in my week would not be an overstatement. Terri, their receptionist, makes this location feel so welcoming and warm with seasonal decorations and her helpful and understanding ability when I’ve needed to reschedule when need be due to something unexpected with my kids. Jacquelyn and Terri worked as a seamless team to help me to find times I could come in even when I didn’t think it would be possible with my busy schedule. They are truly a great place to go for physical therapy. I would give them more stars if I could. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me recover from my shoulder surgery!!!

I was been a patient of Athletico on Randall Road in Lake in the Hills for 13 years. My therapist was and is Susan Anderson. When the new Athletico was opened on Lakewood in Lake in the Hills, Susan was selected as the Physical Therapist to open the clinic. What a great honor to be given that responsibility. I am seeing her again now for my therapy after recent knee replacement surgery and she continues to do excellent work on my behalf. Thanks to Susan and the staff at Lakewood PT including receptionist Terry and the technicians.
