So so for now. The phone system is messed up. Called at 9:45AM on a Friday only to have the greeting tell me the office was closed. Just before that the greeting said they were open M-F from 9AM-4:30PM. Tried calling back and the system simply disconnected me.

This doctor does not provide any reasonable answers to medical questions. Just tries to get you to buy a premium lens without providing any good reasons why. I would stay away.

I had cataract surgery. Every visit has been very positive. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Shaun is excellent. My surgery and post op went great! I knew exactly what to expect from insurance coverage to how to care for my eye. Dr. Jackson and Dr Bollinger are fantastic. I highly recommend Dr. Jackson and his staff. Very organized and well run office.

I did Lasik with Dr.Jackson back in the 90s . No problems until a cataract set into the right eye and I was told a scar of some type behind the left eye. I don’t really trust these eye doctors here in Florida. One said I could not wear contacts, one said I could but they had to be the toric ones another one said I could wear the regular ones. I need to just fly up and see Dr. Jackson. He’s the best I personally feel there is. In fact I’ll be up there this month I need to see if he could see me. Debbie Lloyd moonbabe350@aol.com

The office is crowded with patients. The staff consists of a number of "technicians" who perform limited tasks and are unable and/or unwilling to answer any questions. Telephone conversations are difficult to understand and discourteous. Complaints to the office manager and to Dr Jackson's partner are met by a string of apologies and excuses, followed by a well-rehearsed speech about how much they care about patients. Patient visits are double and triple booked, with no concern for quality.

I had acute astigmatism for a greater part of my life. When I heard about Lasik surgery I was extremely excited!! I of course asked around about it, and Dr. Mitchell Jackson's name always came up. I lived close by, and said why no! I was so impressed with his style. Always friendly, answered every question thoroughly, and most importantly, gave me 20/10 vision! WOW!!! Dr. Jackson was up-to-date on all of the new technology where others wouldn't even suggest Lasik.

12 years ago, blunt force lacerated the cornea in my right eye. Surgery was too risky. The lens was irreparably traumatized. Someone referred me to Dr. Jackson. "It will be like using small jackhammers," he told me. "I've done 30,000 procedures. This will be among the most difficult, but I believe we can do this. Are you willing?" Dr. Jackson oozed confidence. "Yes!" The surgery took less than 20 minutes. Today, my sight is fully restored. He's still the man. As for me? 'Eye never felt better'!

The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. Dr. Jackson uses the latest and most up to date equipment for your vision needs. The total office environment is upbeat and pleasant along with free coffee and snacks. I totally trust my vision in Dr. Jackson’s care because of his expertise in his field. You will not be disappointed if you choose Dr. Jackson for your eye care! ??

Before Dr. Jackson I was seen by three Ophthalmologists who were not able to appropriately diagnose and treat my eyes problem. Dr. Jackson and the entire staff of his office (JacksonEye in Lake Villa,IL.) are AMAZING! I received extremely detailed Eyes examination, finally correct diagnose and treatment plan. Dr. Jackson treats his patients with kindness, patience, professionalism, respect and dignity. He clearly explains every issue and answers questions. I highly recommend him to everybody.
