List of Arnold Kip's Reviews
Dr. Arnold is truly a fantastic human being and I was very lucky to have him as my Dr. Most of the staff was equally as nice and very professional, until last week when I was called into the office by one of the nurses asking for me to come in for a urine and med check., which has NEVER been a problem for me, but on the day I had to go. school was canceled and I woke up with no power, I brought both my children which I really didn't want to do especially with everything going on . Needless to say I forgot to bring my meds and doing so did not sit well with the nurse that was handling the visit, he made me feel like a criminal. Wich I NEVER experienced in the three years I have been a patient there and I automatically started to feel extremely uncomfortable. I was all set to go do the urine when also for the very first time EVER he called another nurse in to watch me, ya well I became shy and sat on the toilet for 20 minutes while both my kids where left in the exam room waiting for me. Being uncomfortable, I ended up just getting up and walking out. The male nurse was so rude not only to me but to my children as well. He did ask me to return before the close of the office that day, but not once did he ask if I was able to return, he demanded I return. I wasn't able to because that Monday I had also finally started a new job working over night after not working for 7 months. To make matters worse I received a letter stating I needed to find a new primary Dr. because they felt our patient/ Dr relationship could not be established and they would give me 30 days to find a new Dr. I know in my heart Dr Arnold didn't make this decision on his own, but the male nurse just simply had a problem with me. And I feel left hanging, because its extremely hard finding a new suboxon Dr. And being left feeling like I'm playing Russian roulette with my health is extremely scary. Especially since we started to reduce the amount of medication in the hopes of me finally coming of them completely.
Dr Arnold never cared or engaged in my health. Him and his practice are under many sanctions for not following NYS drug laws and now the patients are suffering and being dropped from their meds because someone in the office wasnt handling things correctly. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS PROVIDER!!
Dr Arnold is trained in a variety of health issues one of which is substance abuse. Had it not been for the exceptional care of my son throughout a heroine addiction and subsequent treatment I don't believe he would be alive today! Our family all owe so much to him
I had asked for a prescription to be filled but Dr. Arnold was on vacation. Hence, after waiting for four days I called the office and was told by the Dr. Arnolds nurse that he was on vacation but she would give me a few days refill till the prescription was filled by Dr. Arnold. I waited a week but the prescription was not filled despite the pharmacy sending in two faxes and calling the doctors office twice. I finally got the prescription from the nurse but she changed the prescription to half the amount (30 tablets) despite the fact that I have been getting 60 tablets per month for the last 5 years! If the doctor is on vacation shouldn't he arrange for someone to cover for him? Second, how can a nurse arbitrarily decide to reduce the amount of your prescription without checking with you. Very disappointed in the service and the doctor.
very good GP
There have been multiple instances where I have brought issues to Dr Arnold and have had them dismissed as nothing. One of them led to me requiring surgery. If you fit in the category for a geriatric specialist you’ll be taken seriously and you should be fine, but young adults should find a different doctor
terrible. service. MAde me stop seeing doctors I was so frustrated.
Mzkes ton of mistakes wrong medications and forgets to cjeck your heart and doesn't know the differenebce betweeu a finger and ear and botches blood tests
The best, most efficient, doctor I've ever had in my almost 40 years! He is extremely efficient, a great listener, assessor and has helped myself and so many for years now! I'd be lost without him! Extremely professional, thorough, fair, reasonable, courteous and Dr. Arnold is hands down, one of the most kind, polite and nicest men/MD In the Capital Region!
His lack of concern is very upsetting. Other specialty doctors have been telling me to check with him about my high sugar levels. He didn't seem to be concerned even though after fasting it was over 140. I practically had to beg him to put me on medicine for it as my other specialty doctors said they couldn't understand why I wasn't. He said over 140 isn't really high. Doesn't take the time to answer questions indicating there is no time at this visit. He strictly adheres to a certain alloted time per visit. Very disappointed with him as a doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
