List of Justa Shelley's Reviews
My whole family has been seeing Dr. Justa for over 25 years. She is wonderful and really cares about her patients.
I had been a patient of Dr. Justa for about a decade. I became a disabled chronically ill patient.Dr. Justa suggested i find a dr. closer to my area. Now being with a proactive dr, I find she was a passive dr and did not change dosages of one of my meds. After having a bad experience with another dr prior to finding this proactive, ifound out that a med i had been on was on a low dose and i should have been on a much much higher dose. I now have kidney damage due to her not following up on a 2011 ultrasound. I called back to help me with withdrawals of a medicine cause i was in between drs. Kim called me and was rude and mean turning me away but that i could be a new patient and come in a few months.Knowing my situation, Kim said that she could do nothing more. Kim also was rude whenever i called and she argued i was not on a med, when i had been on it for about 10 yrs. Nurse Lou and CVS had to get involved.Shame on you Dr. Justa and having a staff member like Kim controlling your office. I wanted to speak with you, not Kim.I have no cure for all of the conditions i have but there was so much more you could have done.I am so tired of passive drs. Kim told me that i was Dr. Shopping when i only saw one internist near my home and i almost died in her care. I have been in pain for more than 10 yrs and in 2010 was legally named as a disabled person for life by social security. I complained to you about Kim and the meds and nothing was done. Again, shame on you both.
Was her patient for many years . Always efficient and thorough . She would discuss anything with me , and took her time to talk over any questions or concerns . Had I not moved out of state she would continue to be my doctor .
This physician was a prior pharmacist. She overpresribes opioids, psych drugs and many other medicines to appease her patients and avoid more difficult treatment options. She prescribed morphine for a mother, along with 10+ other medicines(including many other opioids and psych meds at the same time) to a mother living at home with just a 12 year old child who Dr. Justa also prescribed adderol and other medicines to as well. Neither one of was able to care for the other or make sure they safely took their medicines or or properly wheeled themselves off the medicines that put them at peril. Dr. Justa refused to work with concerned family members who wanted to do an intervention. She told the family that any intervention for addiction would need to be voluntary but Dr. Justa was the drug dealer!!!! Watched her give in to the mother when she said she “liked” the medicine (opiod). Dr. Justa’s partners in the Practice will not prescribe opioids to Dr. Justa’s patients when she is on vacation because they have concerns! Please report any concerns you may have in the NYS Office of Professional Misconduct.
Dr.Justa Has been my doctor for the last 5 years and I could not be more satisfied with her knowledge and professionalism. Every time I see her I feel that she cares about my treatment and that she puts in a real effort to find the best solution to my questions..
I have been a patient of Dr. Justa and can't figure why she has such a low rating. My care is excellent and she is always on top of my medical matters.
I have been with her for many years on and off at least 25. since she has moved to her new kingdom it is no longer patient friendly, if you need help today you can see a - P A because I am to busy is the attitude, now Just dollar signs is what it's all about
Dr. Justa has treated me for a number of years and I have a few complex medical issues. I have found her knowledgeable about my medical needs as well as with various medications. She is supportive and nonjudgmental and looks for medical solutions that will really help. I highly recommend her.
This physician overprescribes medicines! Please contact the NYS Health Department Office of Professional Medical Conduct as she needs to be held accountable for her actions. She does not listen to the patient or the families concerns.
This physician is incompetent . We have lost three family members under her care.. The last two members who died were a result of her inability to say no to a patient with a drug addiction. If you have any concerns about care you have received under this doctors, or any doctor, care please go to the New York State Office of Professional Misconduct and file a complaint.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
