My mother was recently in the Lawrence Co. Memorial Hospital for almost two weeks, & we had a very pleasant experience the entire time she was there. Dr. Gary Carr was very attentive and concerned about her health. He went as far as to call me twice about her condition with updates. Every nurse and CNA were pleasant, nice, efficient and timely. Overall, I would highly recommend this hospital when it can meet the needs of the patient.

I have heard negative comments about the staff and very poor leadership. In turn, how can an establishment take good care of patients with poor management? Please go somewhere else for a band aid...ie CVS before ever looking for help here. I hear that Good Samaritan is a great medical facility!!

What a wonderful experience with my 8 year old granddaughter. Quick diagnosis and great care from registration,lab,nurses doctor,x-ray and lawrence county ambulance Keep up the great work.

My mother took a hard fall. We went to the ER at LCMH. The ER Doc , Staff ,Lab and Xray were so wonderful!! The Registration was fast and we were seen quickly. She received the BEST care. Thank You to all for taking such good care of her!!

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL..Dr. Goldstone never once came to talk to me about my debilitating pain before just wanting to release me and didn't even talk to me about the other problems I was having..thenurses were very negative and one even called me a liar after I got scared and agitated about wanting more done the doctor just told me to leave hospital before he called the police on me THAT HOSPITAL SHOULD BE SUED AND SHUT DOWN

There are almost too many instances to name where LCMH has been there for our family. I was born at this hospital and have spent quite a bit of time at the facility. I believe as a patient I have become familiar with most of the departments which are very professional: emergency room, surgery, therapy, lab, cafeteria, medical floor. I believe the only department that I have never visited is maintenance. The hospital employees are very good at their jobs. The aides are very efficient, the nurses are proficient, the doctors are professional. It’s always spotless and welcoming looking. I very much appreciate its presence in our community.
