Judy Hu's Online Review Report Card

My visits have been efficient and on time. All my questions are answered. The information is always explained in a way that I, not a doctor, can understand. I feel taken care of and cared about.

I was referred to Dr. Hu and went to my appointment. It was very rushed, she wasn’t friendly, and she didn’t really seem to care about what I had to say. It would be very helpful and convenient if she had her employees tell new patients that they shouldn’t come in unless they have a physical rash/condition she can physically see or it will just be a waste of time. In my case it was a waste of copay unfortunately it’s not cheap for some of us.

Very thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. She made me feel comfortable and explained everything during the process. I have found my new dermatologist.

My son is only two and Dr. Hu is so patient with him and makes him feel so comfortable. So glad to have found her!!

Dr. Hu was thorough in my skin check, professional, and personable. I was very satisfied with my visit.

I left my appt confident that Dr Hu has performed a thorough examination. She performed a biopsy of some tissue that appeared questionable. Dr Hu herself was warm but very professional, as was all the staff at Cumberland Dermatology. I highly recommend Dr Hu to anyone seeking an excellent dermatologist.

The office was extremely disorganized and difficult to get in contact with. I have left many messages with no return calls or replies. Sometimes their number is offline and I can't call at all. I just tried at 1:30pm on Monday, a time when their office should be open, and got a message that their number has been changed. Their billing office number is perpetually busy and I have not been able to call for multiple days. They messed up my prescription twice, and did not return calls from my pharmacy when they reached out. I brought the bottle to the office and asked for the exact same prescription and they could not do that correctly. Their billing department also did not wait for my insurance to pay the claim and tried to charge me for what insurance owed them. On top of all that, she didn't even fix my medical issues and I need to find another derm to fix it. I am deeply disappointed in this practice and will not be going back. Waste of time and money. Stay as far away as possible.

In my opinion, this is a very cold physician. I think she made the pain worse, necessitating a visit to another doctor. As I recall, there were lots of openings on her schedule. What does that tell you? I note that of the 10 reviews presently on this site, fully half are 1*, the lowest rating. Do you believe the 5* reviews or the 1* reviews??? Consider these comments a public service.
