I was trying to be a patient of Mr Alzat but after my 1st visit he was very disrespectful and didn't care about my issue so I told him that and he told me he will not help me and told me go to the er and get help and canceled my next appointment and said I was not welcome dude to my behavior. My behavior was telling him not to talk to me disrespetful so he got mad and waked out the office and just left me there with no answers to my issue and later had os nurse tell me to find another doctor. Just not good for a place that you expect to care for you especially when they know your pain is a level 10 with no relief. Just in awe how I was treated so badly by a so called doctor who is supposed to care for a patient. Still in need

Dr. Alzate is an excellent surgeon and I highly recommend him to others in need of his practice. He was very clear about the process and walks through the steps/stages of treating my family. He is well equipped and knowledgeable and places us as patients with ease. From start to finish Dr. Alzate is 100% focused on listening to the patient and their concerns and has always demonstrated an aligned plan for any further treatment and after-care. I had neuro surgery on T11 and 12. Dr. Alzate did an amazing job. He truly is a wonderful Dr. Thanks Dr Alzate.

First visit was a I pad visual, he was very nice and listened to me, I felt his confidence in his demeanor, and went over my MRI with me and showed me me c4 thru 8 was actually touching my spine. When I saw him after surgery he didn’t really come in the room just said your good to go home, almost a wk after I fell upside down out of my lounge chair, I was stuck upside down till I finally moved my legs to the right in so much pain ended up in ER, they took X-rays, I was too swollen to see anything, my follow up appointment, I saw his PA, she knew nothing about my fall, I was in intense pain, I thought he would follow up with me but nothing. My chest, neck back are bad, not to mention I have dystonia and my fingers hand r numb. Now I feel like a just another number.

On the recommendation of a friend who had surgery with Dr. Alzate, I decided to seek help from him. I can’t thank him enough for the excellent job he did with my cervical disk replacement surgery. After months of suffering in agonizing pain in my neck, shoulder/trap area, and arm, multiple injections in my neck by another doctor, weeks of PT, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and a finally a trip to the ER, Dr. Alzate was able to replace the disk in my neck and the pain in my arm/shoulder/trap was immediately gone post-op. He is a very compassionate and skilled surgeon and took his time to thoroughly explain all my options with regards to my procedure. I never felt rushed or pressured by him or his staff. His staff was very helpful and accommodating with regards to my hectic travel schedule. Five stars is not enough, if I could give him ten I would!!

Dr. Alzate recently performed a craniotomy on me and the experience and results were amazing! He has given me my life back and I could not be more thankful or grateful for this amazing surgeon! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
