List of Yana Kiesau's Reviews
By far one of the best doctors!! Cares for her patients. Highly recommend !!
She always listens to what I have to say and answers all my questions. Very knowledgeable and kind.
Dr. Kiesau has been seeing all three of my kids their entire lives, and is unquestionably an exceptional doctor who clearly loves taking care of kids. She moved 2 years ago (this profile information is badly out of date), and I now take our kids out to be seen by her in the suburbs.
I've brought all three of my kids to Dr. Kiesau. They love her, and it's clear she knows her stuff. It's comforting to have the expertise of someone dedicated to caring for kids, even though all my kids have had nothing but normal exams.
Really bad bedside manner. Very rude and unkind person. I do not recommend allowing your child to interact with her. She is very money focused and has zero regard for your child's health. Very unfortunate that this type of person was allowed in medical school.
We went to the doctor (listed under the providers with our insurance), for a simple eye check up before my son starts school, as he had an eye scratch a year prior and never had a follow up check up. The first doctor who saw him a year prior was unavailable, so as this doctor was listed under our insurance, we thought she would be a good substitute. Dr. Kiesau examined my son for 15 minutes, and said all was fine. A few weeks later we got a bill for over $700. Our insurance provider negotiated with the office (Ann and Laurie Children's hospital) and brought the bill down to a little over $300. I called the office to explain that it was just a follow up check up, and they were very rude. I left a message for the doctor and got no reply as well. My insurance just said that she was pricey doctor and to leave it at that. I didn't think I'd have to shell out so much money- and now still have school shopping to do:(

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
