She has helped eliminate pain from my scoliosis and given me exercises to overcome both back and knee pain that affected my mobility. I heartily recommend her. This was the first time I had ever needed physical therapy and I couldn't be happier about the experience. From the initial phone call with Kevin and throughout PT with Rolene, I was treated respectfully and with care. The knowledge provided, encouragement offered, and all around positive atmosphere allowed the sessions to be fun despite the sometimes challenging exercises. I had a fantastic experience with Athletico/Lincolnshire for two issues. 1) I tore my ACL in Feb 22 and had reconstructive ACL surgery in Mar 22. I started PT with Rolene 2+ weeks after surgery. She was incredibly patient and instructive. Over the next several weeks, she led my recovery and increasingly guided me through incremental challenges to strengthen and flex my knee. After 2+ months, I was able to attend yoga class again and after 4 months I had few limitations. Note, my ACL was still healing through the 6+ month mark and Rolene was excellent about helping me understand what I could and should not do. I am 7 months out from surgery and my knee is doing great. Kudos to Rolene and the staff there for their guidance and encouragement. 2) During my ACL rehab, I let Rolene know about some recurring shoulder pain and flexibility issues. We started working on this in parallel and she connected me with Jessica who took over from there. Over the course of a couple months, the range of motion and flexibility in my shoulder has increased significantly. She also performed a couple "dry needle" sessions to release some of the tightness in my shoulder and which has helped with my recovery. As with my ACL recovery, I was informed along the way and had input into my treatment. Both Rolene and Jessica did a great job of setting expectations, providing encouragement, and pushing me as I rehabbed. Also, the overall staff at Athletico was incredibly friendly and supportive throughout my recovery. While I am finished with my official PT, I could to strengthen both on my own with leveraging all the knowledge and information shared with me. In terms of scheduling and insurance, it was a breeze. There was lots of flexibility on appointment times and they managed everything directly with my insurance company. I definitely would recommend the Lincolnshire facility!

Rolene is amazing! She’s very caring and understanding. She takes her time and is very patient while working with you. She will definitely make sure you’re 100% before releasing you from therapy.

Athletico was so very helpful. When I started I was in so much pain. Rolene, my therapist was so helpful. She showed me a verity on stretches that I could use at home, and the gym. She always listened and Targeted my treatment around that.

I had a great experience at Athletico. Everyone was very professional and made me feel at home. I was given a program to follow to help me recover from my injury. I was taught a lot, and the physical therapists always watched to ensure I did everything correctly. Thank you everyone at Athletico, I will come back if needed.

I can’t say enough about how great my experience was here! From my first phone conversation with Kevin, he showed compassion and got me in for my first appointment very quickly. Rolene my physical therapist was amazing! She also showed compassion and listened to my “issues” giving great advice and a plan to heal. We discussed how this is not only a physical thing but also emotional! I have graduated and I am on a great path to get back to my active lifestyle.
