List of Amit R Patel's Reviews
Worst doctor I have ever been to. Had a Lithotripsy on my left kidney to shock and remove a 7MM kidney stone. Told my wife while I was in recovery that all went well and that he was able to have the stone removed and that a post op visit was not necessary. Had a emergency CT scan 3 weeks later and found that the stone was still there and was at 6mm in size. Spoke to doctor and told a completely different story and made false statements that I caught him on. Duly corporate was involved and are covering up his lies and are expecting me to pay for surgilcal center charges. This doctor is a liar and a hack. Do not use him or Duly Health and Care for that matter.
Dr. Patel has been my doctor for numerous problems with my spine. He is nothing less than very gifted doctor and surgeon. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Rita Clough
He is informative and thorough in his explanations of procedures and how they will benefit you. He does not stop until you are pain-free. He is an excellent doctor, caring, kind, and concerned about your well-being.
Dr. Patel is a true gentleman. Respectful....pleasing personality...caring.....skilled
I thought I had a kidney stone back in October of 2021. Turned out to be a tumor, which Dr Patel was able to surgically remove in February 2022. I had an excellent experience with him and his staff.
My husband was a patient of Dr Patel when dealing with an inability to pee. The experience was discouraging to say the least. Dr Patel did some tests and ordered some scripts and concluded my husband’s prostate was enlarged and the bladder stretched to a point beyond repair. He said there was nothing to be done, and to return in six months to see if anything had changed. This was difficult news for an otherwise healthy man who was now on a catheter to hear. During this life-changing-for-us consultation, Dr Patel was distracted by non emergency texts to which he was responding. We sought another opinion from Dr Jeffrey Pearl with UroPartners (my review is also on this site). Our experience with Dr Pearl was dramatically different. He listened, explained our options, and ultimately performed a TURP to deal with the enlarged prostate, a procedure never even presented by Dr Patel. Long story short—my husband is well again!!!
Absolutely would highly recommend Dr. Patel. He is very easy to talk with which is rare for DMG physicians and I've seen a number of them. He hears what you are saying and addresses your concerns. Explains his ideas thoroughly.
My Mom is a patient of Dr. Patel and he treated/continues to treat her for bladder cancer. He takes time, patience in explaining the treatments, listening and overall excellent care of my Mom. We are very happy with Dr. Patel, he is one of the BEST
Dr Patel, is very dedicated, I was very impressed with my first interaction with him. He advised me of all the options and different medications if I wanted to try them, He did not force me into any direction. He answered ALL of my questions and together we came up with a plan of care. His nurse Becky and Toni and Catie are all very nice, informative and treat you like family. I would definitely recommend Dr Patel. He is worth the wait and he really cares about you .. Made me feel like family
I have recommended Dr. Patel to several people because I am impressed by his training (Cleveland Clinic & University of Chicago Hospital Urology), his skill at explaining prostate cancer treatment options, and his thoroughness & patience in answering my questions. Dr. Patel examined me & ordered a pre-procedure MRI so that he had additional medical information on my condition before surgery. I had explored options with a urologist and a radiation oncologist before deciding on Dr. Patel.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
