Dr. Ahmad completely ruined my eyes. I signed up with him for a fairly common cosmetic eyelid surgery after reading positive reviews on this google site. It turned out to be the biggest mistake in my life! My case was borderline needing a surgery for cosmetic reasons. During the consultation session, Dr. Ahmad strongly lured me (or pushed me) to do it. At presugical visit, he told me that “you’d look great”, just like how he told others. But then I realized he really didn’t know what he was talking about or what he was doing!! He left my eyes looking 20 years older with scars and asymmetrical problems. The “new” eyes completely ruined my look. The worst part was that instead of owning his failure and incompetence, he went around in circles with me during my post operation visits to tell me I was supposed to look like that and he did the right thing. I was extremely depressed and hated what I saw whenever I looked into the mirror. I started to hide myself from others as I didn’t want people see my ruined look. Finally I found a different surgeon to correct the damages he caused. Unfortunately the other surgeon could only partially correct the damages as some were irreversible. Now I know I shouldn’t have trusted all the bragging reviews I see. Some negative reviews were mysteriously removed. There are plenty of others whose eyes have been destroyed by this guy! Dr. Ahmad talked me into a ptosis surgery that I shouldn't have had. The surgery completely changed the shape of my eyes and made me look so much worse than before. During a post-surgery visit, I gently raised my concern over the unsatisfactory results. He wasn’t happy to hear that, rushed me out of his office, and indicated that he was done with me. For the past four years, I’ve been suffering every day carrying a pair of altered eyes that I feel ashamed of. On top of that, I have also been suffering from complications caused by the surgery. My eyelids can’t completely close when I sleep. Every morning I wake up with dry eyes that irritate me. My young children once told me that they were so scared watching me sleeping with the white part of my eyes exposed! Dr. Ahmad is my worst nightmare. Don’t trust those fake bragging reviews!

I regret that I had a surgery done by him which has caused irreversible damage. Not sure where those bragging positive reviews came from. His knowledge and skills are more or less at an entry level compared to some other surgeons in the field.

I recently had upper blepharoplasty surgery in Dr. Ahmad's Chicago office. I felt like I was in such good hands from the moment I went for the consultation. He addressed concerns about my medication, worked with my insurance, but most of all he showed a level of concern and compassion that I have rarely experienced with a physician. I am so grateful to have come to his office--my surgery was successful and I am very happy with the results. Nurse Daisy and all his staff are wonderful as well.

I don’t know if I can trust the positive reviews about Dr Ahmad. They sound just like how he bragged himself in front of his patients. He doesn’t explain procedures in detail and can falsely lead you to believe that he could easily carve out a new pair of eyes to make you look good. The problem is that he has no magic touch and doesn’t have good enough skills. In the end, you’d just become another subject for him to practice on, and the outcome can make you regret for the rest of your life, which I unfortunately learned the hard way.
