List of Brian T. Kadow Md's Reviews
As a fellow physician, I give Dr. Brian Kadow a five star plus review. He diagnosed me with metastatic carcinoma of the prostate, and saved my life through his expert surgery. He is knowledgeable of medicine and extremely personable. He listens and patiently explains at your level. (and does NOT type into his laptop while you speak, 'hear me my fellow physicians?') I would and will recommend him of highest order to my patients.
Dr. Kadow came in for 3-5 minutes listened to what I had to say. Ordered me a STAT CT SCAN for probable kidney stones. He said he would call me back in a few hours with results. I went and got the blood work and CT SCAN he ordered, and left the medical facility at 11:30 am to wait for my results. By 5:30 pm that night(Friday night) I had not heard from him, so I called the office which was CLOSED. I decided to call the on call person, who WAS NOT DR. KADOW. They ended up telling me that there was a large kidney stone, but it was in my kidney so that could not be the cause of my pain. They said I would have to explore other options for my pain. I felt this was incorrect so immediately the next morning (Saturday) made an appointment with another urologist outside of DuPage urology for Monday. I brought a copy of my CT SCAN IMAGES, the new urologist said you have a very large stone AT THE END OF YOUR KIDNEY! That is what is causing your pain. He tested me, I am now stone free, and doing GREAT! I NEVER did hear from Dr. Kadow himself! I did get a phone call around 12:45 -1:00 from someone in Dr Kadow’s office telling me that Dr. Kadow’ notes stated that the stone was in my kidney, which would not cause me pain. He noted my pain was musculoskeletal. So, Dr. Kadow and his staff not only misdiagnosed me, but he didn’t even take the time to call me himself like he said he would! I am SO GLAD that I listen to my gut instinct and got a SECOND OPINION. I would not recommend Dr. Kadow or DuPage urology at all!
He’s the best of the best and puts your mind at ease. He saved my life🙌🏽. Awesome medical professional.
A doctor that Cares, listens and gets back to the patient in a very timely manner. I could not be more pleased with his experience.
Fantastic
He was very thorough and I was very satisfied with his care
Dr. Kadow was fantastic in listening to my story about my urinary symptoms and recommending a course of treatment. I never felt rushed, and he took a long time to go over all my options. I'd highly recommend him to anyone in the area.
He's a fantastic doctor and I'd refer any of my family members to see him. He treated my bladder cancer and I had a very good outcome. Excellent bedside manner and he explains all treatment options very well.
He treated me for kidney stones. I had a great experience (well - as great as dealing with kidney stones can be). His office has good communication and surgery went really well. I'd highly recommend him to anyone experiencing the issues I had (stones). He focuses on prevention of stones after surgery, which I appreciate.
I had kidney cancer surgery with Dr Kadow and I was very happy with the whole process. Though surgery is never fun to go through, he made the process as easy as possible. Great communication from his office and he spent a lot of time telling me what to expect before, during, and after surgery.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
