Dr. Chris C Huang M.D. Orthopedic surgeon · Lombard, IL, has always demonstrated total professionalism on every level, He displays a real genuine appreciation and concern for people. He also took great care, and percision on my hand during carpul tunnel surgery, 1/20/2022 I'm grateful to have him as my Orthopedic Dr. - And to the Nurse crew at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Prep, and Post-op Staff were AWESOME. I can't say enough. Excellent team.
My visit with Dr Huang was nothing short of perfect. I met with him to concerns for persistent pain in my hand after a moderate trauma. Dr Huang asked relevant questions about when/how the trauma occurred, listened attentively to the symptoms I had been experiencing (how they felt and when they seemed most pronounced), performed a thorough exam (assessing for discomfort when putting mild pressure on different areas of my hand and adjusting its position), closely reviewed the x-rays (which were quickly and easily taken in his office), and shared his understanding of my condition — slowly, understandably, and comprehensively. This doctor is clearly experienced and knowledgeable, but he is also warm and caring. I simply cannot give a higher recommendation for anyone in need of orthopedic care of the hand/wrist/upper extremity. With Dr Huang, you are 100% in good hands (pun very much intended). Thank you, Dr Huang!

I like that he doesn't beat around the bush and waste my time with unnecessary small talk. Answered all my questions fully. My surgery went well and I have complete recovery of the use of my hand. Very happy.
DR Huang is fantastic. 2 surgeries he performed on me for first trigger thumb and then trigger middle . finger. Would recommend him.
He put pins in my sons finger a few years ago for a bad break. My son recently went back to inquire about having pins removed since they do not feel good in the finger. Doctor told him it’s cold out there’s nothing I can do. Hmmmm really?! How pathetic. I myself just had pins removed from my foot so yes Doctor it can be done.
Dr Huang gave me cortisone shots when I came in for ganglion cyst on my wrist back in 2014 and 2015. After my wrist got worse I saw a different doctor who was surprised I got cortisone shots for my issue, especially since I have very small bones and small wrist. I now have unrecoverable side effects from the cortisone shots where the fat and tissue disappeared at the cortisone shot site and skin is thin and discolored. On the other side, a family member had a successful complicated finger surgery done by Dr Huang after other doctors didn’t think the finger could be saved after it was smashed in an accident. From my own experience, I wish Dr Huang was not so quick in administering cortisone injections and offered alternative, especially since I came in with a request to remove the cyst.
Even before I had my first appt with Dr. Huang I got myself all worried about having surgery thanks to me reading too much on internet. Saw Dr. Huang and he told me cortisone injection should help with trigger finger because I came to see him within a couple weeks of the first sign of problems. Improvement every day after injection and exercises. Hope it lasts but for now optimistic.
I cut my finger with a saw. The ER diagnosed the injury poorly. I visited Dr. Huang a week after the injury. He instantly knew it was a more serious injury & performed the surgery the next day. He was very thorough in his explanations of the injury & what was required in the surgery/recovery process.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
