Awesome. He spent a lot of time explaining what would be done for my cancer surgery. Had it in 2012 and am fine.

I can't say enough about Dr. DeHaan. As a person and a physician. He is the best. He saved me from another doctor who told me I was incontinent. In fact, what I had was a prolapsing hemorrhoid. He did surgery for that years ago and as he promised...those problems are now way back "in the rear view mirror.

He is completely inefficient and a terrible communicator. This man thinks it’s a good idea to send messages through the Dupage medical group message board without notifying his clients of upcoming serious events. I have a mother who just overcame cancer and and he wants to inject her with gamma rays to search for any other problems. Completely phishing to make more money. This test was not needed at all! This man didn’t even notify the primary care physician about a supposed test. Terrible!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. DeHaan and his staff are professional, thorough, explains the procedure in laymen terms and has the best bedside manner. Never felt rushed. Felt like he’s God-sent.

Dr. De Haan is a fantastic and caring physician and person He is wonderful to have as a surgeon really cares for his patients and so easy to talk with. Never rushes you out and explains everything in detail. Highly suggest you have him in your corner...

Doctor Dehaan treated me for hemorrhoids. I had gone to two other specialist prior to Dr. Dehaan. Specialist number 1 had me coming back every 4 weeks for injections that didn't work. I did that for 4 visits then stopped. Specialist number 2 spent 2 minutes talking to me and another 2 minutes examining me, at which time he determined that I would need surgery. He promptly told his nurse to schedule an appointment with me and the hospital for the following week. I never schedule the surgery. I finally found Doctor Dehaan, he spent as much time as I needed to understand the various treatments for my condition. He explained the pros and cons of each and suggested the least invasive procedure, telling me that surgery, the most invasive, (hemorrhoidectomy) would be his last option. I opted for rubber band ligation which Dr. Dehaan performed in his office during the same visit. When I asked for a follow up visit, he told me that it would only be necessary if I had any complications. I did not have any complications, but in an abundance of caution, I did see the doctor a second time and was given a clean bill of health. I highly recommend Dr. Dehaan. He and his staff could not have been more caring and professional. Thank you Dr. Dehaan!

Dr. Dehaan is fantastic. He is very nice and easy to talk to. He made me feel very comfotable, even though I had to have emergency surgery. He made the process easy to understand and I fully trusted him to do a great job.

Dr. Dehaan is everything I want in a surgeon or any type of physician. I didn't wait for my appointment and he didn't have his hand on the doorknob to leave. Every request and question was answered extensively. Thank you Doctor!

Hard to get an appt. with him, however, one of the best doctors I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Kind, compassionate, knowlegeable, and considerate. Work ethics excellent. Can't say enough good things about him.

Dr. DeHaan is the Best that there is!!! He has performed at least 3 procedures on myself and my family and I respect and like him very much!! Highest Rating POssible.
