List of Dupage Medical Group - Diagnostic Imaging's Reviews
Recently, I ordered a cholesterol panel ONLY. When my blood was drawn, numerous tests were added on, B12 being one of them. Funny thing, I've begged for B12 tests in the past, but was always given a hard time. I recently went to Quest Diagnostics and paid $75 to get the test done because it's always been denied at Duly. And wouldn't you know it, Duly added B12 to my simple cholesterol panel. That wasn't the worst of it though. They also added a Vitamin D check, and numerous other tests, that once again, I did not ask for. To make matters worse, they then send it into my insurance with the wrong codes and I am charged over $350 for all these blood tests I never wanted in the first place. I contact an office manager to share my concern about the pricing and all he says is, "I don't know what you're asking for," over and over and over like a robot. So sad when the original doctors group (Meyer, Meyer & Albers) was taken over by this monopoly. They lack empathy and compassion hugely. However, there may be no better options out there as far as I know. I have no complaints about my primary care doctor though.
I joined Duly Health and Care mainly because it was local. I found a doctor who (I thought) was more interested in what the patient is experiencing and addressing those issues. Instead, what have found is a doctor who repeats the warnings and pays little to no attention to the causes behind the issues that he is warning me about - mainly elevated blood glucose, and weight. There are reasons for those issues but the doctor seems to ignore them or dismiss them out of hand. Not the kind of doctor I want for my health. My husband (who has been living with CHF for the past couple of years, and now has a repeating hernia) sees the same doctor - saw him just yesterday. Simply put, the doctor heard little to nothing my husband was telling him, and told him that he needs to have "general surgery" to explore the reason for his B12 level being so high. Doctor thinks my husband has internal bleeding because his red blood cell count is low, as is his Iron. The REAL reason for this is a) he takes a multi-vitamin that has over 200% of the daily allowance, AND he has a hernia that causes him a lot of pain in the groin, so he has been eating FAR less than he should be. Consequently, he is not getting all the vitamins he needs. But the doctor wants to him to go through exploratory surgery? Nope. We both will be leaving the Duly Medical Group as soon as possible. Also, getting in touch with anyone in the Duly group is a virtual nightmare. You cannot call the doctor's office, you have to go through the Duly Call Center and HOPE to God they understand enough to put you through. Healthcare in this state is ridiculously bad.
Wonderful care and service
I'm not sure what the problem is with duly...they have become so large that carring for the little guy has so changed. My daughter has duly thru work..she is showing a therapy for tomorrow in her chart and she has had surgery last Thursday so she was trying to cancel the appointment. I chart told her she had to call..she calls and is told the therapy was today..and she will be charged the 50 dollars...I was with her on the call and she was basically told..sorry..not right
I've been a patient with Duly since they were DuPage Medical Group - more than a decade. In the past few years, customer service and patient experiences have been in severe decline. My primary care doctor is great, but everything else has gotten worse. Sadly, over the years, Duly overall has just become more unprofessional and uncaring. The final straw was trying to get a simple prescription refill from my behavioral health specialist, Patricia Badway, for a sleep medication. I have panic attacks at night and need medication to ensure proper sleep. Over the next five days, she never responded to me or Duly office staff about the prescription refill - FIVE DAYS. I had to get an emergency prescription allocation. I still have yet to hear from her or anyone in her office on day 6. However, once I canceled my upcoming appointment with her, my prescription was canceled within minutes. Really? Incredibly, Duly customer service told me that I couldn't see another provider until Badway released me as a patient. But she doesn't respond, so I'm literally stuck. And Duly simply won't do anything about it. They are literally driving me away by having a specialist ghost me over a prescription refill. I cannot express my shock and anger over this easily avoidable situation that put my health at risk. I'm switching to Northwestern. Duly is a sad joke that's no longer funny and may actually endanger patient wellbeing. This is just the worst possible healthcare in Illinois; avoid Duly like the plague. The mismanagement is staggering; this sinking ship could arguably be out of business within a decade.
Duly is the worst. My husband is a stage 4 lung cancer patient there, has only missed 1 appointment in 6 years, yet had has 0 treatment for his cancer in 90 days...his pain has gotten so bad and I have started calling the office at 8am, with no call back... it is 4:30 and no call.. they close @5
Things here have changed. I'm now on my 4th primary care doctor. Went in for a minor toe problem and have been referred to get doppler ultrasound then sent from cardiologist in Tinley Park to cardiologist in New Lenox for and referred to get another test. Been on a payment plan for over 5 years and now suddenly they want to reevaluate your payment everytime you see a physician or get new tests. Communication for customer service is off shore and hard to understand them. Considering going elsewhere. Hard to get in contact with anyone and everyone is overworked and chaotic.
Duly Health and Care has taken over for DuPage Medical Group. This has been a great disappointment. I can not complain about Dr Towers but the administration is terrible. They fail to bill my insurance correctly and communicating with them is difficult. There seems to be a language barrier as people I have contacted didn't realize the seriousness of my request or process my request the expediency. I'm suddenly receiving payment demands for services performed a year or more ago. I have Medicare Insurance with Blue Cross Blue Shield Supplemental Insurance, which covers almost all the costs. I've been seeing Dr Joseph Towers for more than 25 years and I'm very disappointed to be looking for a replacement because of poor support from Duly. I would strongly advise anyone looking for new medical support to keep looking.
And a year later...still hasn't learned public manners. Still blasting the waiting room.
I tried 3 times to contact their accounting office in Glen Ellyn and was hung up on 3 times. Their voice mail prompts are useless! I will now drive to their location to settle a mistake on my billing.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
