The staff are very nice. The sleep study itself is questionable. You can't bring your own pillow have to use their small flat rubbery pillow. Cant bring any of ur items to make sleep more comfortable. I didnt sleep hardly. Maybe after tossing, 3 hours. Wires are bothersome moving around. Rubber thing on ur finger with cord. Benedryl didn't help. How they can use that little bit of sleep to determine my study,I don't know. Up at 5am. That's not how I sleep at home.

I have been a patient of the Elmhurst Health System for over 20 years. They pay attention to my health needs and issues, preventative and current. My primary physician is the greatest! I am a retired middle school teacher, which can be a bit stressful at times, but, working or not, I am confident in the excellent care given by the Elmhurst team.

I stayed overnight at this facility for my apnea last night. I was greeted by the lady that took care of me during the night. She was nice and did her job well. The facility is clean and all, however, not even 30 min after I was put to bed I had to call and ask for another blanket. It was freezing! I have no idea how the temperature changed, but it was way too drastic for someone to sleep on. I am not sure I'll go back to that lab if asked, unless they give me a space heater in the room.

It's been two years since I've been to the center, but every time I've been there, the people have been courteous and helpful. Even now, when calling them for data from years ago, they were very straightforward and did their best to help me get the information I needed. All in all, I've never had a bad experience here, and the studies have helped me move forward towards treatment for my sleep apnea.
