Dr. Zajac is a good doctor but you’ll always end up waiting over an hour in the waiting room. No respect for appt time slots - make sure to reserve ~2+ hours for your appt.
After my consultation, I felt confident in his knowledge and explanation of treatment. Does not rush and answers all concerns.
Dr.Zajac is a very well educated doctor who has greatly impacted my husbands care plan. His expertise, professional manners, and patience provided a positive experience seeing him as a provider. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a caring and brilliant endocrinologist.
Take in consideration that this office does not respect appointment time slots. Make sure to reserve an awfully longer extra time past your scheduled time. The patients run out of patience while the rude front desk staff giggles. Of course, they do not care that you may have other obligations or other things to do, or that you took time off from work or that you are paying a nanny extra time to watch your kids and everything else. Based on this experience it would not matter how good or not the doctor may be. It is not worth it. Period.
Dr. Zajac is very knowledgable and thorough. My complaint is with his out of date messaging, phone system, charting methods. He and his hospital group have NO charting measures. Dupagemedical group has Mychart. You can see appointments, test results, email and MD or nurse. Your MD can schedule blood tests directly with provider and see test results shortly. His office hours are VERY limited. His answering service will not forward questions or concerns you have, they only tell you when he is in the office. You cannot see test results, because there is no charting system. Dr will not call you with results, you have to call him, when he is in the office. And it is impossible to find what his hours are. When you ask for the results he gives general answers. Your blood work is fine. I can go on My chart and see every test and the data. I find his office practices unacceptable. And I am looking for a new MD. If you need a test, he gives you a piece of paper with the order.
I had one visit and really thought the doctor was great. The office and service they provide is terrible. The calls are always routed to their answering service and the hours fluctuate. You can't leave a message with answering service only cancel is what they told me. You would think the answering service has there correct hours but seems that even they don't know. I've had to call to chase around my results not once but twice now.I don't think it is unreasonable to want to know your results a week after your procedure. I've heard nothing but great things about the doctor and his partner but my overall experience has been tainted by my experience with getting results and getting through to the office.
Love the Doctor and the Staff. Caring and compassionate.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
