My husband has been seeing Dr. Swade for many years. He has been a Type 1 diabetic for 54 years and Dr. Swade is the ONLY one he really trusts! Dr. Swade is extremely knowledgeable about diabetes, realistic in treatments, compassionate, respectful, caring and kind. Most of all, he really listens to his patients and creates a medical plan WITH the patient. He is very accommodating and we've never had trouble getting in to see him even in emergency situations. We love his office staff, too! They have helped us innumerable times with all different types of situations. Dr. Swade is our angel!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Swade for years. Dr. Swade himself is great. He takes the time to really listen to you and figure out your treatment plan. His office on the other hand is atrocious. I have been trying to call for weeks to reschedule an appointment. No answer. I’ve left messages without callback. I’m afraid I’m going to need to switch to a different doctor because scheduling is so impossible

It took months to get an appointment. Then it took hours in the lobby waiting to see dr swade. Then... he was very nice, listened, ordered labs, and promised a follow up before Thanksgiving. Its March, never heard a word, never got a follow up, never got help for increasing blood sugars. You can call right? Nope. Their phone hours are limited to a couple hours a day and you never get through because everyone is trying to call in their tiny call window. You can message the doc through their patient portal right? Nope. Did that months ago and got no response. It was a complete waste of time to go see him... waste of a co pay... waste of precious time with ever increasing blood sugars and no help whatsoever. Dont put yourself through it.

Engaging and thorough! An excellent Doctor who takes the time to explain and more importantly listen to his patient. He knows endocrinology like no other. Questions are promptly answered even between appointments.

Dr. Swade has amazing beside manner. He is patient, kind and obviously knowledgeable. However, the follow-up deserves zero stars. I had lab work performed and cannot raze them for any follow-up. Office call-in times are severely limited. I sought an endocrinologist for help with my blood sugars, which a have been increasing, yet cannot get any feedback from them. I might as well have not even visited

Dr. Swade is a great Doctor- I would recommend him to family, friends, co-workers. He is a Doctor who really listens to his Pt’s. He provides education and information clearly, and with patience. Great demeanor and I can say I never felt rushed or was nervous about asking questions. I have not had any issues with office staff myself, but would certainly speak with the office manager if poor customer service is so bad it would or could drive pt’s away.
