Dr. Brunner was very patient, understanding and respectful. She took time to listen to me and was kind.

Very kind woman, but have had enough issues with her practice to switch providers. Good: - She was accepting of my transgender status--not familiar with LGBT+ issues, but asked appropriate questions and took notes for future transgender patients. Bad: - She led me to believe that I had a may have a heart condition after a routine physical. After seeing multiple specialists, the result given was essentially "your provider does not know what she is talking about." - She asked if I was seeking a referral for a therapist for attention. - She failed to inform me that she sent a script to the pharmacy as a new prescription rather than a refill, which caused me to be without my medication for several days--leading to hospitalization. I certainly accept the majority of blame for this issue, as I did not immediately call the clinic, but it would have helped if I had been informed of the change.

I made multiple appointments to address mental health issues and was met with disbelief, while being told I needed to see a therapist. I deduced I was having simple/partial seizures but was again dismissed. 2 months later, I had my first grand mal seizures. I was diagnosed with Temporal Lobe Epilepsy and told all my mental health issues were symptoms of the epilepsy that could have been treated much earlier if I hadn't been met with such skepticism about what I felt was happening in my own body.

Dr. Brunner has been the primary care physician for our family of four for the past three years. We are two parents in our late 30s and two kids under seven. Dr. Brunner is always efficient and considerate. You can tell she is listening to you because she respectfully asks more questions and takes notes while listening. She also understands parenthood as she has four children and her experience makes her great with our kids. They actually enjoy going to see the doctor! She also explains why she is diagnosing and why she chooses certain treatments. She actually lets us choose when she has options and presents the pros and cons of all. Great doctor!
