Patrice Staten's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Staten is a great OB. Unfortunately the Maryville office is horrible when it comes to communication. I waited over a month to see dr. Staten only to be told once I got there that because I was in between insurances I had to pay up front. I didn’t bring my wallet with me so I couldn’t pay upfront today. They said they tried to call me TODAY to tell me I would have to pay out of pocket without insurance but I changed my number a few days ago so I don’t understand why they waited until the last minute to contact me and let me know that so now that’s an hour away from home and back wasted on an appt I didn’t have. Lord knows they take a year to get you back in for a reschedule. Letting people know all the options ahead of time would save a lot of gas and wasted time.

Erin Wright is an amazing Doctor. She is very caring and very thorough. . Dr. Patrice Staten did a surgery to remove a cyst. An amazing office of well respected physicians that are very caring. The office staff is also very nice and very polite. I HiGHLY recommend this office for all of your Gynecological needs.

Dr. Staten is a great doctor. She performed my hysterectomy in 2016, and it was a breeze. She has always been a very good listener to any problems I may be having or going through.

Dr Staten failed to feel a 1 inch ovarian cyst during 2 pelvic exams. I had every symptom but she didn’t schedule an ultrasound. My general practitioner, who I followed up with, cared enough about my health to schedule a CT and ultrasound discovering the cyst. Definitely avoid this practice if you want proper treatment.

Love this practice Dr. Staten is amazing! She is so knowledgeable and caring. She’s extremely precise all while making you feel so comfortable! She delivered my baby also on top of being my #1 OBGYN Thank you so much!

In 2015, when I was pregnant with my son this office was great. Never had any issues what so ever, these days any time I call I have to call atleast 5-7 times before I even get an answer. That is main reason I’m leaving, there is no reason I should have to call that many times, then when you ask them about it they swear you never called!

Getting in to see the doctor is impossible! After being referred to Dr. Staten after my OB of 20+ years retired; I made an appointment. Had to wait 3 months for the appointment THEN they called to say she wouldn't be there and I had to reschedule. For ANOTHER 2 months. After waiting in the lobby for over an hour, she did take her time with me. For my follow up appointment, they called two days prior to AGAIN say she wouldn't be in office and I needed to reschedule. Enough is enough, moving on and finding another doctor. If this is how you treat your patients then I'll go elsewhere.

Dr. Staten is the most excellent doctor I've ever had. She's truly kind. I strongly dislike seeing doctors and she helps so much with my discomfort and fear. She is always nice, patient, and positive. I'm also a big girl and used to doctors being rude to me about my weight. Dr Staten has never been rude, even after I gained a lot of weight. She stresses the importance of being active and eating right for your health (and baby's) but she doesn't shame. She understands my medical history and mental health history and how they've impacted me over the years, including my weight. She's an excellent doctor. Her office workers aren't always excellent nor the wait times but she is worth it so it balances out.
