I would not recommend Dr Shaw. If the utter arrogance of walking around in and out of appointments with no mask when even patients are required to wear them wasn't bad enough.. he is grossly unprofessional. At the end of my pap I thanked him for making it at least emotionally as painless as possible. (Physically it was very rushed and painful.) And he responded "the painful part is when I smell it."Im sure it was a joke but there is a degree of trust that is required when a doctor has to literally go inside your body that can not be maintained when you don't take seriously the vulnerability of a dynamic like gynecological care. It was investigated. He denied it, of course. But if anyone else experiences this type of thing please know there is a patient advocate you can report it to.

Love Dr Shaw! Makes you feel comfortable, is compassionate and cares about you. Easy to get appointments, staff is friendly; just all around a good experience for what easily can be a uncomfortable visit. Highly recommend!

I love Dr. Shaw! He has a calming bedside manner, explains things clearly and always willing to answer questions you may have. I 1000% trust him with me and my baby’s healthcare.

I saw Dr Shaw when he was with Northshore. He was the only one I didn't care of, so naturally he was on call when I went into labor. He delivered one of my children. He's goofy, but the delivery was fine. The problem came when it was time to repair a tear. He did a terrible job stitching me up. I did not heal properly and was in pain until I had a second child and another doctor successfully repaired his work. Night and day difference in quality of work. It pain for 2 years vs 2 days with the same tear.

Dr Shaw delivered all 3 of my children and is a wonderful doctor! He is knowledgeable, gentle, kind, caring and really listens to his patients. His advice is sound and well thought out. After listening to options for me, he performed an ablation and it has truly improved my life! I was so happy that he moved his practice out to Elk Grove. I highly recommend him and am so happy he is my doctor!

Dr Shaw delivered all 3 of my children. He is kind, caring, and really listens as he wants his patients to be happy and healthy. He is gentle when preforming yearly exams and wants his patient to be comfortable during procedures. Dr Shaw has also helped my with issues of heavy bleeding by recommending and completing an ablation. This procedure his improved my life!! This doctor was so helpful and knowledgeable sharing his thoughts and experiences that I was more than comfortable with his advice.

I began to see Dr Shaw 14 years ago and since then he has been one of the best and the most caring doctors I have ever had. He saved my daughter's life during delivery and he did a couple of surgery on me he as easy as a breeze. He has always been fully attentive to my need. My daughter who is 13 now, wants to become an OBGY just because of him! It is just sad and heart breaking when I read these reviews. I only wished that he didn't move his practice this far! Love you, Dr. Shaw!

Dr. Shaw did my tubal ligation after my cesarean and that was 8 years ago and since then I have been pregnant 5 times. When I call the office to speak to him about it my phone calls were never returned

He and his partners are awesome. The practice is so friendly!
