I've been waiting over a week for prescriptions for diabetes, and they said it will be two more weeks. It took her five days just to put the prescription in. She does not come on the phone: you have to send a message on MyLoyola and she's in no hurry to respond. Office is unhelpful and woefully understaffed. NOT RECOMMENDED.

I really can't recommend Dr. Shivakumar. You'll never get her on the phone because she requires you to message her using the myLoyola system. Dr. Shivakumar took several days to respond to my messages. I've been waiting over a week for prescriptions she said I needed, and her office said it will take at least three weeks more. Really bad office. She's probably a good doctor if you're healthy or not in a hurry for medicine, but if you have health problems and want a doctor who answers your questions, I would look elsewhere. NOT RECOMMENDED.

I had a great virtual visit last week. It was a follow up visit for my COPD meds. Dr Shivakumar is very thorough and always concerned about me. I feel confident that all her suggestions about meds and lifestyle concerning my condition are spot-on.

Dr. Shivakumar is outstanding, she takes time to listen to the patient and try to find resolution to what problems you’re having. She is caring and very easy to talk to. The entire staff is extremely friendly and makes a smooth process when checking in and out. I would highly recommend Dr. Shivakumar and staff if you’re trying to find a great doctor.
