List of Ashlee Holst's Reviews
Misdiagnosed. Sent wrong prescription to the wrong pharmacy. Lack of follow-through, empathy and compassion. Resists accommodating referrals outside of her practice. Doubt she makes time for continuing education.
Very accommodating for every visit. She is very proactive in finding out the causes of issues that are occurring. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Offers me appointments during lunch hours and early mornings. Sometimes even telehealth appointments is necessary. She will make sure you’re a an active participant in your care and will make follow up visits to keep In contact. Couldn’t recommend more to anyone!
She is Knowledgeable and willing to help you. When you ask a question, she makes sure you know your options before helping make the best decision for you and your health. I would recommend her for anyone who cares about their health.
She provided adequate care for the first year I was with her. When I was diagnosed with COVID-19, she bemoaned her inability to prescribe ivermectin (!) and I had to convince her to order the monoclonal antibodies infusion that inevitably spared my lungs. And she never followed up with me. Not sure she even knows that I'm still alive.
I have been a patient of Dr. Holst for a number of years. My husband is also a patient. I cannot say enough about the wonderful care that Dr. Holst has given both of us. Dr. Holst is thorough, knowledgeable, compassionate and a "hound dog" on finding the proper diagnosis to a problem. If she cannot find one, she will refer to the proper specialty doctor who can. Once my husband went in for a pre-surgery checkup the day before his hip surgery, and Dr. Holst WALKED him personally downstairs to the ER for an irregular heartbeat. He was diagnosed with A fib and the surgery cancelled, which may have saved his life. She is the best and I highly recommend her to all.
Fearmongering at its finest. Dr. Holst believes that individuals vaccinated against COVID are a danger to their friends and family. She presses this belief on her patients to the point that unvaccinated individuals become so fearful that they themselves "quarantine" from their own families. Shameful.
I liked her at first but she has become unfriendly and smug when she sees me. She never smiles and just does what she has to do to see me. She provides no extra interaction at all.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Every time I go there, there’s an issue with something and I have to call back to get it straightened out. Absolutely horrible. She doesn’t listen, she constantly prescribes the wrong medication when she’s been told of my allergies MULTIPLE times and it’s even noted in my chart! Then, you can’t do a thing about it when you don’t get off work to get the prescription until after her office is closed! When you call for an urgent issue like a UTI and can’t get out of work before her office closes AT NOON, she refuses to let you go to the lab after work versus going in to her office. She just lets you suffer through the entire weekend and her brilliant solution? DRINK MORE WATER. Anyone that’s had a UTI knows how incredibly painful they can be. Does she care? Nope! Drink more water. God forbid she send you to the lab and THEY get the money instead of her! Patient care is NOT at the top of her list, AT ALL.
Dr Holst is not only kind and professional, but she’s also excellent at seeing what’s going on with you as a whole person, not just a bunch of parts. I was so lucky to have found such an amazing doctor
The front desk isn’t very friendly on most days. It’s challenging to get service and for anyone to know what they are doing.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
