The dr I seen was very arrogant she didn’t really listen to what I was saying! She’s very young to be that arrogant about her degree

Awful experience here. I was in need of a primary care doctor and came here for my first appointment with Julie Bear, will definitely not be going back. Complete waste of time as my issue that I have waited years to inquire to get help for was completely disregarded. She sounded uneducated on it and if that was the case she should have referred me to a different doctor instead of blatantly ignoring it and stating the obvious telling me to do things i have already tried for years. She clearly doesn't care about her patients mental health and can't prescribe correct meds based on other reviews I've read here. I am not one to write negative reviews literally ever but I took the time out of my day to do this because my experience was that pathetic.

Tried to schedule an appointment, but staff was rude and flippant. They eventually told me "okay" and hung up on me.

I'm writing this for my mother. Everytime I take her she's treated friendly and with respect. She adores Julie Bear and listens to everything she tells her. Everyone there are great people and wonderful to their patients. Keep up the good work.

I've been at this practice since February, between two different doctors, I told them the the heartburn medicine I was prescribed was making my symptoms worse, I was told to double up on the dose. When my insurance would no longer cover the medicine, I was told to take Omeprazole, which I told them in the beginning also made me much worse. Come to find out, I've been having a slight allergic reaction to this medicine the entire time. I've yet to even get a physical exam. As a diabetic, I've told them about a problem I've been having with my legs, and it's been unchecked. After I switched doctors, I saw the new one once to be told I'll be seen every six months, but they never even set another appointment for me to go in. I've been telling them about my excruciating back pain since the beginning, they finally gave me an x-ray last month to find out I have spurs on my spine and something else they found, and I was referred to physical therapy, but not offered a thing to help ease my pain. I told them I have problems sleeping, something they've also known since February, still nothing to help me sleep. All in all, I'd be better off going to an emergency room for help...

Very clean, prompt, and easy. Little bit of a wait but nothing more than a half hour for test results. Nurses and staff are great, very polite, and positive. Good rational explanation received in report from from the visit. I highly recommend this office of business for you and your children's health concerns. Thank you Unity Point Clinic!

Never felt so embarrassed by a nurse constantly haggling me. About if I got permission from the Doctor to even have my kids seen by her. After the last visit having my daughter also Embarrassed and made to feel Uncomfortable. I'll be lucky if I'm ever able to bring her into another doctor for the rest of her youth. Thanks but no thanks. You broke my childs trust. Your office was a safe place for me to bring my children. Not anymore. Aside from the cruelty towards my child. Regardless of patents income or Insurance. You treat people with respect.

Update: As it turned out the medication was called into a pharmacy and nobody bothered to tell me. They also didn't confirm what pharmacy I used and so they sent it to the wrong one. Original: This office has changed drastically in the last year. I've been coming here for 8 years and it has been a struggle since Angela Schmeider left. Dr. Kumar was difficult and now Julie Bear has been nothing but difficult to work with. I've been trying to refill a prescription for 10 business days now. I've called 4 times in that time and left messages for Chelsea to call me back and haven't received a call yet. This medication has been filled by 2 clinicians in this office before. That should have been enough information to honor the prescription refill. I'll be moving offices.

Been a patient for 3 years and I got a letter saying my Dr. Kumar will not be continuing practice at Unity point & would encourage me to continue care with unity point With Julie bear & I called their to sign up as a new patient & the secretary Mrs. lynn was very rude after she find out i have the poor mans insurance & said nope not taking new patients even though they sent me a letter to sing up with them smh lol they very unprofessional & rude!
