Cary Ann Jenkins's Online Review Report Card

I’m am very pleased with Dr. Jenkins professional services and those of her staff. I get examinations every 6-months. Twice problems were identified in time to prevent a very serious problem. One was melanoma cancer, the other was a basil cell. Both required operations and thanks to Dr. Jenkins I am “good as new”. Dr. Jenkins is a very pleasant woman and makes you feel relaxed. I have never felt rushed at her office. She is very efficient in identifying things that need attention. I highly recommend making an appointment with her as your dermatologist.

Referred to Dr. Jenkins by my doctor. They have called me 3 times in one week, only to say finally that.no one is available until June. Be aware it appears they have.nothing to offer.

Very poor experience from the start. Made an appoint with the MD, made it at a farther location to get into Dr. Jenkins sooner and when we arrived it was with the PA. I explained this is something that should have been disclosed at time of scheduling. Going forward we have had nothing but problems getting the medications filled. They want you to use their own personal pharmacy that requires you to pay out of pocket instead of using my insurance. Each time I called the staff would speak over you and did not listen to anything you had to say. They would state they will send to my pharmacy however, the script is already there and additional documentation is needed. I must have told 3 different people this same statement. They clearly must have a financial stack in the private pharmacy they push. It is very sad how bad of an experience we have had especially since we heard such amazing things about Dr. Jenkins whom we never were able to meet.

If you've come here and felt rushed and ignored, you aren't crazy. She spent five minutes in the room with me, and wrote me off completely, after my GP went through the trouble of referring me. It genuinely feels like they don't want to help. Shame. Never coming back, telling everyone I know to never come here. Healthcare is too expensive for such a waste.

I have only had one appointment but I had a really good experience. The pa I saw explained everything VERY thoroughly from what the products she prescribed do and side effects I may get, all the way to skin functions and types of acne. My face looks the best it ever has since a teen and I felt like I had tried everything and was hopeless. So glad it’s finally clear again and no pain or embarrassment. Awesome place effective treatment! Thank you!

Everyone does a great job here. From receptionists to medical staff. I am very pleased with services, and I have recommended friends to this office.

Have gone to multiple appointments to treat facial acne, the PA or dermatologist in training does not like to take her time during appointments to answer my questions always feel rushed. Had an appointment with the actual DR. when I arrived to the appointment she switched me to the care of PA-yes my insurance would 100% pay for the DR. service-I don't know why I was switched because that was the whole point of making the appointment-to see the actual DR. I gave this place one last chance-actually had an appointment with the DR. EXACTLY 3mins into my appointment she pulls out her phone, ends my appointment because she had to go pick up her child from a practice right then & there. I'm sorry you dedicated yourself to being a doctor, you are charging my insurance for that appointment time, that is my time. I am so done with this place, they have not helped with my acne, and have the worse patient care it's embarrassing and disgusting that this is what the Grundy County area has for dermatologist care. DO NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE. Make the farther drive for actual PROFESSIONAL care.

I have been seeing her for 3-4 years after being referred by my primary care doctor. I see her at least 2 times a year or so. She takes a very careful history gives me the most thorough examination I have ever have.Develops a diagnosis and treatment plan and explains it thoroughly. Sometimes this takes a long time 30 minutes or so other visits it is more clear cut and may only take a few minutes On a routine appointment she found a very very tiny potentially serious skin problem that she removed successfully. I understand she is opening up another office in Joliet and I will see her there too. Never have to wait long but she is definetly worth waiting as long as it might take.

She marched in and was loud and demeaning took less than 2minutes to ruin my past 3days.

Very personable and professional. Very pleasant experience. Same for her entire staff.
