List of Sandeep Sawhney's Reviews
I saw Dr. Sawhney as a follow up to an ER visit. I only spent a few minutes with him, but in that time, I felt completely at ease. He answered all of my questions, and I did not feel rushed. I found him to be caring, professional and thorough. His staff was also extremely friendly and professional.
Excellent as usual. Doc. SAWHNEY is/has been on bulls eye with my problems. Had searched for a couple before a RECOMMENDATION for their doctor. I had searched for several years and all wanted to experiment and i said ohhhh. Hhhhh!!!! No. Doc SAWHNEY never mentioned it and now after years with him few and far between issues. He’s the one for me. I send my friends to him ??
Absolutely HORRIBLE! I saw him in July 2018. Had a very severe issue with my scrotum. He never bothered to give me a full exam, and brushed it off as no big deal. He never even saw the problem. He couldn't have rushed through my appointment fast enough either. Consultation (first time meet) wasn't even 10 minutes. I was rushed to the ER the very next day and emergency surgery was performed by one of his team members. I was later informed, I was just within a mere few hours of being septic.... intubated in the ICU, all because Dr. Sawhney misdiagnosed and masked the issue I was having. STAY AWAY!
If I could give -starts I would, 1 star is WAY TO HIGH for this dr. I had a 9mm, 6mm and a third smaller kidney stone... after the operation one stent came out (it had a string for me to pull out in 5 days, but no one told me that so as soon as I got out of surgery and went to the bathroom and whipped mysefbit came out a little). SO they decide to try to reinsert while I’m AWAKE by pushing it in with a catheter. Well that said it did work and the first time I owed i didn’t even wipe any it came out. So their next brilliant idea was to try to reinsert the stent by putting a wire in it and pushing it into the kidney—- all WHILE I WAS AWAKE. Then they scheduled the removal of the 2 other stones 18 days later😳. They gave me pain pills for 10 days they say - it was 20 pain pills that I could take every 4 hours... it’s ashame Drs don’t know how to count. 20 pills would last 10 days if I took only two a day—- with a9mm kidney stone. When I went for check up with my gp- she said infection was still full blown, the antibiotics dr sawheny gave me wasn’t working. Thank god for my GP, she changed the infection meds and was able to give me pain med... however after reading on it and calling dr sawhenys office they said by I cannot take that before surgery. They said take alleve or go to hospital. No compassion what soever, in fact the nurse was very rude and acted as if I was wrong for being in pain. I have been bed ridden since I got out of the hospital because of the kidney stone pain and all this dr and his office say is take alleve or go to hospital. I’ve already spent 3 days there and they didn’t fix me, why would I go back, so he can make more money off me and give me pain meds in the hospital. I am dreading Monday when I have the surgery, hopefully they will not do it while I’m awake, and hopefully they will give me pain meds to go home.... PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS DR BEFORE YOU GO TO HIM OR HIS OFFICE. I don’t wish this experience on Anyone. I’ll repost after surgery to see how fu**ed up they did it. I’d switch Drs now but don’t have time because I need this out now!
Not at all. How many patients can I juggle at the same time. I wanted to kick him in the balls while he was performing his version of a cystoscopy - the 1-minute express with biopsy. Lidocaine was not properly administered. Catheterization was torture.
Dr. Sawhney was punctual and professional. While not a doctor that is going to sit and swap stories with you, he is thorough and to the point. He doesn't waste time with anything other than the reason you are seeing him. Having said that, he will make sure all your questions are answered and explain anything your are unsure of.
Does not listen to patients. He told me to live with my pain and basically ignored me.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
