I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in January of 2021 and started my search for a surgeon. After meeting with Dr. Nguyen I felt very confident in his ability and knowledge in robotic radical prostatectomy. He took the time to explain the procedure and post surgery recovery. He also, answered all of my questions and concerns. Having performed well over a thousand robotic procedures was very reassuring to me. I knew that I would be in good hands. I am currently on the road to recovery now and could not have asked for a better outcome. I truly believe that his experience and surgical expertise have contributed to the remarkable speed and quality of my recovery.

Dr. Nguyen is awesome. He was my prostate cancer surgeon and 3 years later I'm doing well with a psa of 0! When I lived in Chicago he was one of my favorite doctors. I always looked forward to my visits with him.

He consulted on my wife's urinary retention problem at Presence St Joseph Hospital. When I questioned some of his assumptions and the course of treatment he became condescending and rude. I consider this a violation of medical ethics and requested the hospital remove him from the case.

Dr. Nguyen isn't just my doctor who has helped me survive prostate cancer, he has also been a friend who really shows his concerns about all my current and future worries. When you walk out of his office he makes you feel you are his #1 patient, he is brilliant and I trust him totally with my life and he has made me believe I have a full life ahead. I truly thank God he is a part of my life....

All the surgery and follow ups were very good,but before all, they should ask if you were exposed to agent orange in Vietnam/Korea.If I would of known Korea also,I could of applied with the VA.to check if there were benefits coming.I did not know until 2 years later...........
