List of David Israel's Reviews
Aligns with narcissistic, wealthy parent to attempt to prove favored parent (well adjusted, trusted respected, supportive - that’s why they are favored) is alienating, Attempts to manipulate children into thinking they are not experiencing abuse and tries to force them to the disordered parent. Motivated by money and inflicted further trauma on my children. Fortunately, my children have many well adjusted adults in their lives and were able to see this doctor was not trust worthy and figured out how to work around this providers harmful practices. I do believe someday he will need to look in the mirror and face the fact that he prioritizes money above all else and has inflicted deep trauma on innocent children. I feel terribly for those who have had to go through additional heartache while under the “care” of this doctor.
David Israel is inhumane, harmful, disturbing, and abusive. He is willing to partner with an abusive parent if they are willing to line his pockets on a continual basis as long as the money train never ends! He will cause so much harm that you have to pray your child is well grounded and aware that they are dealing with someone more deranged than their abusive parent. David Israel is unwilling to problem solve, rather he will create more issues for the "favored" parents and child to make things look as if everyone is against the "unfavored" parent. All along continuing to line his pockets and show the "unfavored" parent that he is their greatest cheerleader! He believes by making threats to the child they will become compliant to this "therapeutic" ways. David Israel will one day be caught, all these negative reviews will one day catch up with him, he enables narcissistic men to abuse women in a "therapeutic" setting all while lining his pockets and causing harm to all that get in his way.
Any therapist or parent that dangles a child over the head of the other parent is a monster. To pit parents against each other, rather than implement co-parenting tools and solutions is incompetent at best. David Israel does not look for or suggest solutions. He gets in the mud with the parent that wants the other parent removed from their children’s life. He is a hired gun, joining in creating so much stress and drama to the point of ptsd for both the children and parent that is being targeted. He will destroy your relationship with your child. He does not care about the results of his actions. Connecticut is filled with therapists that “choose a side” supporting the parent that wants to remove the other parent from their Child's life. This “should be” a huge malignant narcissistic red flag to the therapist and to the courts but instead it is a big paycheck to them. Dr. David Israel is heartless.
I would highly recommend Dr. Israel to any parent of a healthy, run of the mill child. However, if your child is disabled or has special needs, I would keep searching. He has refused to sign off on my sister getting a new wheelchair, even though she has severely outgrown the one she has had for the past 5 years. He has also refused to write a new script for her special formula, forcing her to be fed protein shakes for 2 weeks, and also refused to write her a new script for her special diapers. Now my sister will be unable to attend school this fall because the teachers and aides will have no way of transporting her without a wheelchair for her size. My sister already has far too many things to handle, and it’s suppose to be his job as a pediatric physician to make her life less painful, not more. He is not a bad person, or a bad Doctor. Just not the one you want for your special needs child.
He attempts to come off as caring and knowledgable, however after working with him it became clear he ONLY motivated by prestige and money. He has no morals and will align with the individuals with deep pockets. He lied and could have caused significant damage to my children. I agree, too that someday he will be forced to face all the damage he has caused to children under his "care". Luckily, in my case, the truth prevailed. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS HIM, EVER! Run, don't walk.
This man is a monster. NEVER let him get assigned to your family. BEWARE!
Dr. David Israel specializes in parent alienation. Works with the parent who has the deeper wallet and their attorney. Lies in court and seems to not care what happens in the end. If I were to diagnose him, I'd say he is a psychopath! Zero empathy!
Didnt listen to me concerns about my baby and the next morning we ended up at Cardinal Glennon having emergence surgery.
Dr. Israel may be nice but he is far from being a good Dr! I no what a good Dr is, & that would be Dr. Kaushal in Mount Vernon. Dr Israel won’t even give very sick babies with RSV a much needed breathing machine!!!! This is not the 1st bad experience with him! Do your children a favor & find a Dr that actually believes in medicine cause this 1 does not!!!!
We have been seeing Dr.Isreal since my oldest was born, and she will be 8 in August. He is the BEST! The nicest doctor who will explain everything to you without you having to ask any questions. I will NEVER take my girls to anyone else. We followed him from Fairfield and will follow him wherever he goes, if he were to leave Mt.Vernon!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
