Our family has been very fortunate to have had Advanced Behavioral Health as a partner during some very difficult years raising our children. Dr. Ndrio in particular has expertise and a view of the big picture, and has responded quickly and patiently to our mental health care needs. With the demands of the industry growing, he and his staff have always focused on the real, human needs of patients and their families. Highly recommended.

The billing department staff need to be retrained or be fired, they are absolutely clueless, and willfully ignorant, and the worse thing is that they know they just don’t care. It took me a year to solve my issue, they kept overcharging me, my copayments were triple of what they are supposed to be(!!) through countless calls I was able to get a refund after a year, but it was a nightmare! Specially because I couldn’t just leave my therapist. Awful experience, this is simply unacceptable.

I was exploring this company’s social media pages to get a better sense of the services they offer, and it was clear right away how caring and personable their providers are. It’s genuinely comforting to see a practice that seems to truly prioritize its patients. I’ll definitely be reaching out soon to schedule an appointment.

Watch out with these scammers, years later after service they keep charging my insurance with made up bills, that I keep having to contest. The reports they write contain a lot of AI generated content, and do not represent the truth.

I didn’t even have my appointment yet and I already am so done with this place. I called to schedule an appointment as a new patient, was told they had nothing for March left and would call me in the next two weeks to schedule for April. They took all my info, insurance info, etc. no one ever called me. I called back more than two weeks later and they had no record of me or my request of an appointment. So that delayed my care. Then the woman proceeded to tell me I needed a referral. I literally got sent to them by my primary care doctor I had the paperwork in front me. I have a PPO insurance plan so referrals are not required. Then she puts me on hold. Comes back, proceeds to schedule me and take credit card info (never had a doctors office take my credit card info). After the appointment was scheduled I have received no confirmation email, text, nothing. How do I even know my appointment was actually scheduled or that there is record of my appointment? Absolutely disgusted with this service. Quit your job if you’re that miserable and unhelpful. People coming to this place are seeking out care and this type of service in health care is completely unethical and unprofessional. Do not come here.

The 1 star is for the front desk team. I have been going here for almost 3 years, and no matter what day of the week and which receptionist, they are not friendly at all. With the exception of maybe a couple of them, they all treat you as if you are inconveniencing them. The only reason I still attend is because I have an amazing therapist (Stephanie Ochoa) and psychiatrist (Dr. Mir). If it was not for them, I would have left that place long ago. I understand that people can have bad days, but it is basically always. They never smile and by their demeanor, it is evident they do not want to be there. If the front desk team were to improve in their customer service skills, then this place would be a 5 star.

Just don’t.
