List of Andrew H Kim's Reviews
Terrible experience. He failed to run certain tests by his own admission that could have eliminated post surgery complications. He ruined my hip for life.
Dr Kim and Laura are wonderful! My knee surgery results are just like they should be. Their patience and kindness and always giving you time to ask questions are greatly appreciated. Met a lady in the park today who had 2 hip surgeries with dr Kim and had nothing but praise for him. You’re the best!
While the hip surgery went ok, I received the worst after care treatment. I have all these new problems I didn't have before the hip replacement, and Dr Kim and his rude assistant simply blew me off by saying it's because I have anxiety. They got their money so they obviously no longer have to care that what they did caused me even worse pain. I'm so beyond regretful that I had this surgery performed by this man. I'm also never going anywhere to get help for my anxiety because obviously I'm just crazy and I imagined all this new pain I have, according to Dr Kim. I'd give him zero stars if I could. He was a horrible, uncaring doctor and I'm sure my opinion means nothing but I wanted to post this anyways.
The medical assistant is rude, shes talking to 73 years old, and she talks so fast. What was she thinking, she’s throwing a lot of questions for my mom’s medical history way back years ago nor even giving my mom to think. Me and my sister are both nurses, we work in the hospital and thats not how you treated Patient specially when English is not their first language. Not acceptable. Me and my sister are helping our mom to translate that way we talk to our language that way my mom will understand but the medical m assistant keeps on throwing questions to my mom. Not a good employee. Very disappointed, I was referred by a friend to Dr. Kim because of the 5 star rating but with this kind of employee, it lets the whole company down.
Dr. Kim is an excellent communicator. He was not pushing immediate surgery. He was excellent in describing where my wife was on the pain spectrum of her knee pathology. Helping us to decide the timing of treatment that my wife would eventually need. He was patient with all our questions. I am a pediatric dentist with a good medical background. I was impressed with his integrity and knowledge of the single compartment surgery for my wife’s knee problem.
He is a awesome doctor
Dr Kim is amazing. Thank you for being so kind and thoughtful!
Saw Dr. Kim for my hip. He listened to what I had to say, answered my questions and offered details I did not think to inquire about. He said replacement was an option but that he had seen worse and suggested that I try a cortisone shot and therapy first. Grateful for his suggestion rather than immediately pushing surgery. He is very personable and was totally unrushed making sure that I had a complete explanation of my condition and understood my options. I would highly recommend him.
Great surgeon! A perfectionist.
Dr Kim scared me at first because he told me the truth and I was afraid of surgery. However, Dr. Kim saved my knee and helped me have a functional life. He was highly recommended by the nurses at Edward Hospital, who told me he was the doctor they would choose for orthopedic surgery. He cares about his patients and even sent me a note of encouragement the morning of follow up plastic surgery. No doctor has ever done that. I strongly recommend Dr. Kim - I have trusted him with my life and will be forever grateful.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
