Office condones medical malpractice. Do not visit.
Dr. Jafry is a great doctor. We have been seeing Dr. Jafry for about a year. She is always available to talk during our appointments. She is friendly, trustable, and always shows a great concern for her patients. I do recommend Dr. Jafry as one of the best doctors you can find.
Dr. Jafry has treated me for some time. She treats me with respect and as both a person and patient. I can highly respect others to her.
she is a life saver Doctor Jafry is very caring and professional. she doesn't give up on her patients. Doctor Jafry gave my friend his life back. She accomplished what other doctors couldn't. Without her he wouldn't be the independent and functioning person he is today. We are so thankful that we found her.
Amazing psychiatrist She’s a wonderful doc and helped me through what I was going through. She took time and displayed her knowledge very well. Don’t listen to the other reviews she’s an amazing doc!
Dr. Jafry literally saved our son’s life. That is not an exaggeration. Our son is autistic and bipolar and has awkward communication abilities. Our son’s violence escalated in 2016 to such an extent that he required inpatient psychiatric care. Due to his unique blend of issues, the department assigned Dr. Jafry. Bottom line: her expertise in combining medicine and therapeutic intervention was key to a proper diagnosis and treatment. This has been a very long and difficult journey. There are ups and downs. It is not a magic show. But, due to Dr. Jafry’s incredible understanding of meds and therapy, our son is now finding his way and is happy. He is now 25 and in a behavioral work/study program which gives him great purpose and he is not the “kid on the couch in the basement”. Without the intervention of Dr. Jafry and her amazing colleagues and staff, our son would be a statistic instead of being a joy.
My son is autistic, but high functioning. Our mental health journey began at the end of his sophomore year, in 2014, when he simply could not stop crying. Soon that grief turned into rage, and he became too violent to remain in school. It was about that time that we met Dr. Jafry and her team and their “pills and skills” approach to mental health. “Pills”: Dr. Jafry is known for her incredible knowledge of the medicines necessary for you to achieve mental health. “Skills”: Dr. Jafry’s team of therapists are the very best at helping you develop the coping skills necessary to make the most of each day. Many mental health journeys do not have a happy ending. Without Dr. Jafry and her team this mental health story would not have had a happy ending.
Run Rushed visit. Rude front desk. Never returns phone calls. Very shady! Find another practice/doctor.
Dr. Jafry is one of the worst doctors I have ever worked with. I met her through Linden Oaks inpatient, where she clearly had no idea what was going on with me and barely remembered me daily. The day I asked to discharge from inpatient she handed me a business card for the IOP program (that she owns) and it honestly felt like she was making a deal with me that to discharge, I would attend her program. Of course, she didn’t explicitly say this. I was in need of a higher level of care than IOP and it was clear she either didn’t care or didn’t even realize, and she just wanted me to go to her IOP so she could continue to bill me. I ended up attending the IOP for a month after that and it was abundantly clear that the whole IOP she ran was just for money. I do not say that lightly, I understand psychiatry is a profession but when a doctor puts money before quality patient care it is truly a problem. Please, find another doctor. I promise, there are doctors who truly care about their patients, but Dr. Asmat Jafry is not one of them.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
