List of Bernadette D. Bernardo's Reviews
I had great care throughout my pregnancy and c section. Thanks so much Dr.Bernardo!
Great doctor thanks for your care!
I've been going to Dr. Bernardo for several years now. She has always been warm and welcoming, and willing to take the time to answer my questions. We even had a few medical circumstances over the time she has been my doctor, and she has always been supportive, understanding, and compassionate. I have had many doctors over the years, and she is a doctor I keep wanting to go back to.
terrible experience. couldn't answer simple allergy/medication q's, medicine which would be very important to our high risk pregnancy. steered us away, just to have another dr in the practice ACTUALLY look it up and find out she could have it. could have changed the course of the pregnancy. STAY AWAY FROM BERNARDO. Very rude and apparently not motivated/knowledgeable
Dr. Bernardo has poor knowlede of anything other than ob/gyn. If you have other medical medical problems, she will tell you that it’s outnof her scope of practice. Poor bedside manor and is nasty to the nursing staff. Spends more time on her phone, then actually doing patient care. She judges you about your weight, and will lecture you if you gain a few pounds. Then disrespect you to staff. Poor hygiene. Actually came into my room in LD in surgery garb. Gown, hat, mask on, shoe covers on. yuck
Worst doctor on earth! Very cold, not caring person, I'm surprise she is still working. I delivered my son 10 years ago and unfortunately out of all doctors in group it was her shift. In 5 hours that in labor she showed up, then the nurse said she decided to do a c-section without even ever coming to the room and checking on me. I refused as there was no reason for it. She finally came into the room and I delivered my son naturally after 10 minutes. 2 weeks later I almost bled to death at home, I ended up in the ER, waited 4 hours for her to show up there. She left a piece of placenta after the delivery and that almost took my life as I lost so much blood. I had 2 children after that and comparing to the doctors I had after, she is your worst nightmare!
No bedside manner. I need to feel like I can be myself around my doctors and not feel judged. Just an awful experience.
I've had one visit with her and during that time, she was insensitive while responding to my concerns, cocky, and quite rude. She lacks the proper dr-patient manners. We spend so much money (insurance or not) to get a satisfactory service from dr.s, and it should be their duty to not only give us the proper medical service, but also talk to patients with the utmost respect and care. Not like we are getting handed out something at the dr.s' expense or for free.
Not overly impressed. Saw her for medical problem- not a pregnancy. I felt she just brushed off my complaints and didn't really listen to what I had to say about symptoms. Seems knowledgable, but her beside manner is not the warmest. Staff did not seem very organized or knowledgable either. I always felt like I was bothering them with my questions and concerns.
Very astute and looks for options other than surgery first. Often runs behind because I think she tries to spend sufficient time with patients to completely explain everything. Would recommend to others.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
