Dr. Myre is the 'prostate pro'. I've been seeing him for over 3 years since my diagnosis of stage 4 prostate cancer. As of today my cancer is 'under control' thanks to his care. He doesn't sugarcoat anything but doesn't freak you out either. I've always been impressed with his continued research and study at Indiana University Medical School, where he attended as understudy among professors who helped Lance Armstrong the famous cyclist with his testicular cancer. His updated global connections in hopes of some day curing prostate cancer is certainly impressive. If anyone out there has questions concerning prostate cancer be sure to talk to him. He's very down to earth and approachable.
Dr . Myre treated my uncle and the lengths he went to in communicating honestly and directly about his condition and treatment plan was so refreshing compared to other medical professionals my family has experienced. Not many Docs have been able to effectively communicate so exceptionally - both facts and care/compassion - leaving us feeling like we were in exactly the right hands. Very grateful to him and his team.
We were referred by ER doctor to see a hematologist and referred Sania Raza to discuss high platelets and in addition we wanted to consider a second opinion on my condition of Thrombocythemia. We were told Dr. Raza had resigned and we were sent to Dr. Myre. During our first visit, right off the bat, doctor had read our chart and said, I don't know anything about your condition. Your main doctor you see is actually the doctor we refer our patients too. He apparently send all his patience to our Dr. We can support you in whatever you need, but I'm sorry I don't know enough to help you in this area. When his description said he does address this type of conditions. He continued to state "I dont know much" about this, but if you need support we can help you. 'No thank you Sr." I dont need your support when you don't know anything and don't have knowledge of anything. As you made clear several times, no knowing anything about it. His way of support was telling us, your condition is not the end of world. Not sure if he has the same condition as I do, and knows the symptoms. Not everyone is the same and he doesn't know my story nor my struggle. Shame on you.
Yes, most definitely! A very knowledgeable and compassionate man with a real understanding about cancer.Very good with his patients. You’re in good hands with him as your Doctor. The best of the best, never disappoints.
We are so grateful to Dr. Myre for his skilled and compassionate care. His care bought my father some extra time. He took time to review and discuss options with us - and we would recommend him to everyone.
We are so grateful to Dr. Myre for his skilled and compassionate care. He offered a second opinion and bought my dad some extra time in his battle against lung cancer. We can't thank him enough.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
