List of Brinda Joshi's Reviews
Dr. Joshi is a very nice person and she was my rheumatologist for many years until the medication stopped working. She prescribed the next “latest” drug but it had too many side effects and I couldn’t continue on with it. She doesn’t have knowledge or education in nutrition and how it relates to RA and admitted as much when she said nutrition was covered in medical school for about a week. She said I was about 5% of her practice where her patients stop responding to common RA medication. She was happy to prescribe me opioids for my pain but refused to sign my medical cannabis application. She refused to consider an “antibiotic therapy” I had read and researched about that had shown promising results. Sadly, Dr. Joshi is the typical rheumatologist who is taught in medical school to prescribe drugs to mask symptoms rather find a root cause. My general doctor has been managing my care for the past few years and has referred me to a functional medicine doctor who will try to get to the cause of my RA rather than just prescribing Big Pharma drugs.
Dr Joshi is wonderful. She is kind, thorough, and really knows her stuff. Most important of all, she takes time to really listen and address your concerns. I would highly recommend her to anyone with RA.
Dr. Joshi is an excellent physician. She treats my RA. She listens carefully and thoroughly explains what is going on. She is quick to respond to all my questions through My Chart and she always explains the treatment options well. I would highly recommend her!
Excellent follow up and communication on explanation of labs and significance . I transferred from u of Chicago for RA and couldn’t be happier with her
Dr Joshi has been treating me for RA since 2008. What a wonderful doctor! She always takes time with me and listens to what I tell her. She has helped me tremendously and I highly recommend her!
I find Dr Joshi to be very compassionate, and approachable. She doesn't rush me out the door , always listens & responds to every emailed question. Her staff is quick to help with medication refill requests as well.
Dr. Joshi - Very knowledgeable; very thorough; ordered extra labs to understand what was happening with my body; Answered all my questions and explained everything; Showed me my x-rays and explained findings. Would Highly recommend Dr. Joshi!
After trying three other rheumatologists that I felt just threw pills at my Lupus and pushed me out the door, I found Dr. Joshi. That was almost 8 years ago! Dr. Joshi always takes the time to listen to me and explain why she is adding or modifying a prescription. She really seems to care about helping me!
I really liked Dr Joshi.....she diagnosed my condition immediately and prescribed the correct medication.... she made sure I was given blood tests to monitor my condition.....she spent time with me and assured me that it will be all right....
Follow up is terrible, she could not read the MRI when I first came so she oredered a second one (10K). I made sure to go pick up my own written copy. When it was not her specialty I received a letter saying I was fine???? The MRI said may need my hips replaced, but I guess she missed that? When trying to get answer from her about the MRI not once did her or her office reply

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
