I recently had a full knee replacement at Edward Hospital with Dr. Troy Karlsson. My anesthesiologist was Dr. David Rehn who came and introduced himself, explained the anesthesia/pain management plan he had arranged for my specific surgery and why, while answering all of my questions. He was kind, informative & ultimately professional. He was very knowledgeable & friendly and did much to assuage my concerns & anxiety. My pain was absolutely minimal before, during and post-operatively. I am 36 hours post-operative and although there is pain, because of the protocols set forth before the surgery, & Dr. Rehn’s implementation of a thoughtful & specific plan, my pain is minimal & very manageable! I could not be more pleased or feel more blessed by my physicians. Much gratitude for Dr. David Rehn & Dr. Troy Karlsson! I don't even remember my visit or what was done with this dr. But doctors should have some accountability for their billing. In this case I was sent to collections after never receiving a bill. The collections agency said I was sent only 1 bill 7 months after the date of service. SO shady.
