List of Dinesh Jain's Reviews
Dr. Jain and his staff are excellent. Kind and compassionate.
The after visit was less than 2 minutes. I was still groggy. Did not have the time to spend explaining problems with the procedure. Just said reschedule and ran out.
While some people put off doing their colonoscopy, I don't mind. Dr. Jain and his staff at Suburban GI are as professional as they get. Always putting your mind at ease and even following up with you after a procedure.
Dr. Jain is very talented and knowledgeable with great bed manners. The only reason I gave it a 2 stars is the because of the lack of follow up, poor response time, having to call numerous times to get some answers or get a prescription, the staff keep losing the information provided to them during the last visit or do not update your chart with your most recent medications even after going through it during the last visit. You leave a message on both "my chart" and voicemail with the staff and 7 days later still no response or follow up. It shouldn't be that hard to answer a simple request for a prescription or response to a simply inquiry. If it wasn't for Dr. Jain being a great doctor, I would have gone to another provider. It's really frustrating to have such a great doctor with such a poor staff surrounding him.
Dr. Dinesh is fine. I saw him and he gave me the basics. His staff did lose a CT SCAN disc of mine and then told me I never brought it in. That was frustrating. But - The front desk people who deal with scheduling and any questions you may have are the absolute worst. I've never had to deal with such disrespect in all of my healthcare experiences. They scheduled me for a procedure months prior, then canceled me without telling me, then refused to schedule me again because of what felt like a purposeful misunderstanding on their part. I kept explaining that I didn't have insurance and that I was a self pay when they initially scheduled me, but that recently I had purchased insurance and wanted to see if it would work with their doctor. Because of this, they canceled me saying "I couldn't schedule myself for a procedure without an insurance approval" or something like that. I explained when I came in originally, I was self pay and that now I have insurance. I just want to see if my insurance was usable wit them. But if insurance won't pay, I'll just pay out of pocket. They said I couldn't do that - pay in cash ahead of time before the procedure if insurance denied the claim. I said well then, forget I have insurance. I'll just do out of pocket. The woman goes, "Yeah, but you just told me you had insurance." I kept asking why it even mattered. They wouldn't listen. I called back later after speaking with my insurance company and I found out the lady up front had canceled my appointment. I waited almost 2 months for it! I literally had to talk to someone outside their scheduling department in like "billing" just to be re-scheduled. When I talked to the new lady that helped me, she was kind, helpful, and understood where the issue was. She said "There wasn't one." She took ownership and was overall really nice. She immediately re-scheduled me without hesitation. I was on the phone for almost 1.5 hours with the scheduling ladies. The billing lady had me scheduled in 3 minutes on our phone call. These women were frustrated with my questions and upset that I kept calling them back after calling my insurance company. Ridiculous. In addition, it took them almost a month to call me back with questions I had about the prep. Then when they finally did, they actually didn't answer my questions. So I had to ask again. Then it took another two weeks for them to call me back. Its just not right. The attitudes of these women up front are just plain rude and it seems to be almost purposeful. They make fun of you, laugh at you on the phone (I'm not even kidding), and they try and turn things around on you. They are simply not fit for this type of work or any kind of work where they are supposed to be helping people in potentially dark times. I won't go back solely based on the behavior of these women. Just a terrible experience the three times I had to deal with them. Dr. Dinesh should really find a better front staff with people who actually care about patients - patients that are concerned they may have cancer. YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE THE ADDED STRESS OF DEALING WITH ARROGANT AND RUDE SCHEDULERS DURING TIMES YOU ARE CONCERNED FOR YOUR HEALTH AND LIFE.
Dr Jain was very caring during my procedure. I was very nervous and he put me at ease Along with all the nurses and a great anesthesiologist. I would recommend him to anyone!
We have no problems with Dr. Jain himself, but trying to get someone to call us back to schedule a colonoscopy has been difficult. My husband had his last colonoscopy in 2015 and was not due for one for ten years. Unfortunately our daughter has been diagnosed with colon cancer and we've been informed by her physician we should have one done every three years. We called on Wednesday and were told we had to speak with his nurse who wound call us back. Tried calling again on Friday since we hadn't received a call back. Spoke again with someone who said we must speak with nurse and that she would call us. On Monday after no call, we called again and explained how many calls we have made trying to just schedule the colonoscopy. It is now end of business on Tuesday and no communication yet. Very frustrating.
Professional. Personable. Efficient. Both Dr. Jain and his staff demonstrated today how well run and organized his practice is.
I visited Dr for colonoscopy test previously. Now I needed an appointment to see Dr for some other reason but the schedular was insisting that it is a folow up because I am not a new patient therefore she can only schedule appointment with staff nurse. doesn't make any sense. They should make their system friendly to patient not to themselves.
He's a great doctor

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
