Dr vasa is a fabulous Endocrinologist. She has helped by manage my Diabetes for many years. Dr Vasa has a wonderful bedside manor and one can tell that she really does take personal in helping her patients. If there were more stars here she would get those as well.

Dr Vasa has ZERO bedside manner. She was curt and condescending in regard to answering my questions. She offered no additional testing or insight on my treatment. In fact, she seemed annoyed that I even had questions. She told me not to return to her office and to get my treatment from my GP. She used the excuse that I lived far away. When have you ever heard of a doctor caring about their patient having to drive 50 minutes to see them? I am not a rude or impatient person, I could understand her behavior and attitude if I was. The only thing that makes sense to me is that she either didn't like the way I look or didn't like the fact that I have state insurance. Due to the covid lockdown, I lost my job and insurance. Then I fell from a ladder and I had no other option. The whole appointment lasted no more than two minutes, and I left feeling confused and asking myself if I had said something wrong. Nothing about the one and only appointment I had with her seemed right.

Dr. Vasa has been an absolute gem. She is one of the few doctors who has taken the time to get to know me and help me stay healthy. I have been with her since being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and I hope to continue with her! Excellent doctor, I can’t recommend her enough.

Dr Vasa has been treating me for the past three years. She always takes as much time as needed to answer my questions in full and I've never felt that she was rushing. Staff is pleasant and professional.

I have a sensitivity to levothyroxine and she literally said it’s not possible and that I need to take it anyway. She basically told me to come back when I would take the medicine that makes me feel miserable. So I will not be going back., and will definitely not recommend to anyone.

Dr. Vasa came to a diagnosis (different than 3 other drs. over the years) 5 minutes into the visit and from then on forward did not care about anything else I had to say. Ran tests that were not necessary. Felt as if she just wanted to rush through the visit to get to the next patient. Never followed up regarding test results. I checked the after visit summary and she incorrectly filled in things during the visit that is now part of my permanent medical record. This is causing me to jump through all kinds of hoops to get corrected. DPMG has not been much help to address the situation.

Horrible practice. Staff is rude. Dr. Is basically absent from care. I went to Dr. Vasa seeking follow up to concerns about a significant hormone problem. She spoke with me once, for about 5 mins, most of which were spent with her clinging to the door handle just waiting to be done with it. Never heard directly from her again. Her staff refused to share many of my questions with her. She left my care to her "oracles" and refused to answer any if my questions even when pressed for more information. One of her nurses took pleasure in making patients feel bad. When we took my weight, she actually added 10lbs to the total number! She would also repeat Dr. Vasa's only catch phrase "One hormone at a time!" when I asked about anything at all...didn't matter what symptoms I was experiencing or whether I was asking where the bathroom was. I cannot express enough how much you should keep looking for endocrine care elsewhere.

Dr. Vasa is knowledgeable about the subject matter but she does not spend time in patient examination. Also while Dr. Vasa seemed like a well informed and a good doctor, I have had a frustrating time with her staff. Recently, I was trying to get the staff to have proper prescription papers completed and sent to Medtronic for the Guardian sensors [for continuous glucose monitoring (CGS)]. Medtronic sent papers to the office but it took over 2 weeks, 2-3 attempts and several phone calls to get that right. Office staff blamed Medtronic for not forwarding correct forms while Medtronic stated that the staff did not complete the forms properly.

She's been my endocrinologist since I was first diagnosed as a diabetic. She's a very good doctor who's listened to what had been going on in my life and helped me keep my a1c in an acceptable range.
