Gonzalo Pandolfi's Online Review Report Card

My husband had a colonoscopy done by him at Edward Hospital last year - he is absolutely wonderful...good bedside manner, explains everything, takes his time with you and was very thorough. I’m up next! Thank you Dr. Pandolfi- Ted’s case was not an easy one.

Has been my gastroenterologist for about a decade. Great at explaining everything about upcoming procedures, and great about explaining results. Couldn’t ask for a better doctor.

Dr. Pandolfi is great. Kind, Caring, Highly Skilled BUT Not impressed at all with a few of the staff. Sheli seems intent on refusing to allow access to doctor even when I left messages to speak with Dr. personally…after I was hospitalized a few days before. I had spoken with Nurse/Practitioner or her scheduler previously to make appt. and was told (with uncaring attitude) that doctor couldn’t see me for 3 months or her for 3 weeks. After 2 weeks I ended up in ER and admitted for over 2 days with severe dehydration and malnutrition. Doctor Pandolfi wadn’t even aware that I was in hospital. I just happened to see him on my hospital floor and we had a conversation. He told me to get in touch with Shelli directly in future. I did call soon after to speak with him but Shelli continues to get on line and ask if she could help me. I told her, no and that I’d really rather speak directly with him. She told me yesterday that she was having a meeting with him following morning and get with him. No return phone call this morning and still waiting. I don’t have faith that in future I’ll get good care from her or the Nurse Practitioner. I understand they need to protect doctor time and space but I’m at a crossroads. I want to stay under his care but not so sure now. Very Disappointing

I had a procedure done at Edward Hospital. Dr. Pandolfi had a full schedule of procedures and patients lined up, I was squeezed in. He did not rush me, sat down in my pre-surgical room until all my questions were answered prior to the procedure. We did not feel at all rushed, he was warm, caring and supportive. I highly recommend!

Dr. Pandolphi is THE BEST! He truly saved my man's life after his Esophagectomy conplications. He did anything and everything to get him off Iv feedings and he's now pretty much eating everything and keeping food down. He listens and has the best bedside manner. Drawing pics and explaining everything so that we understand. We would highly recommend him ! He really cares

10/10- He knows what he’s doing, his nursing staff provided me with superior care. They were very gentle while providing me with some much needed comfort in a professional manner. THANK YOUUU DR. PANDOLFI 🤗you are the best

Dr. Pandolfi has excellent bedside manners. He's professional and personable. He's very likeable on the first meet. He automatically puts you at ease before your procedure. My colonoscopy was performed on February 2, 2023.

Dr. Pandolfi performed a life saving procedure called a "balloon last September and I am forever grateful. He gentle and very kind.

I had my procedure 5 yrs ago by him and going back for my tune up

The scheduling perseon "Taylor" was rude and ignorant. Only offered 2 options to submit my records for the doctor to review, both required me to print out over 100 pages. I advised this wasn't an option for me. MyChart doesn't allow the sending of documents if you aren't already a patient and they wouldn't allow me to be a patient until they reviewed the documents, see the problem? Asked to speak to a supervisor to work out an alternative means and she wouldn't put one on the phone and wouldn't figure out a way around me printing out over 100 pages. Completely not helpful and unprofessional. Got a follow up call later that day from another inept person who doesn't understand the meaning of not having the resources to print out over 100 pages. Before you say, "just have your doctors office send the file over", the VA doesn't send out a file until you request it which your office won't do unless I'm a patient.
