Unable to heal my hemorrhoids on my own, I saw Dr. Harvey over a month ago. Her examination found 3 internal hemorrhoids. Her diagnosis was to band each one in a series of 3 visits. On Monday August 2nd, she banded the first one. I asked how she decided which one to begin and she replied that she chose the largest one. She successfully banded it and, so far, all is well. My next appointment in on 8/18. There is a 2 week interval between bandings. Dr. Harvey is a great surgeon and appointments are more difficult to set than most other doctors. That and my work schedule explain the extra 2 days.
