I was treated by this doctor several months ago for polyps in my stomach. After the minor procedure I was told by him that he will call me and discuss details, which he never did. It took him almost 2 months to follow up and call me so finally he did, and when he did he pretended like nothing happened and tried to take me back for another procedure.... right before I was diagnosed with mild gastritis so I asked him if he checked the current status of the gastritis when he was doing the procedure and he said no he wasn't doing gastritis so my question is if you're in someone's stomach why don't you check other issues at the same time instead of scheduling multiple procedures and spending extra money. Not reliable, trustworthy, and has 0 integrity. Do not recommend to anyone.

I was referred to him by Dr. Grant after recent stomach surgery. He needed to do a little tweeking to my esophagus. He was nice, a sense of humor which made going to a new doctor a little more relaxed, and the of the procedure explained exactly what he would or wouldn't do, and afterwards talked to both my husband and I in great detail of what was done (including pictures which my husband had asked for). He will now be my go to gastro doc.

He saved my elderly father's life with his expertise and perseverance.. He conferred with our primary care doc after hours to plan the best care. He called personally several times to follow up He's great!

Dr.Katwala is an excellent person. Great bedside manner. He will spend time as needed to help with a diagnosis. I would recommend him and his staff to my family and friends. I have had office visits and hospital outpatient surgery procedures..I came with questions and he answered all of them...

One of the best doctors I've ever seen. Spent over an hour in his office with me to research and solve my problem. Unheard of in today's rush 'em through medical practice! Treated my husband who had ALZ with great dignity.
