Lake Cook Behavioral Health is a great organization. More specifically, Erica Schultz has been beyond amazing to my family and child. I have recommended Erica to several of my adult friends, and I have also recommended my adult friends to consider Erica for their children. She is equally as amazing with adults as she is with kids. A few of the many things I appreciate most about Erica: She is an empathetic listner who never passes judgement - no matter the situation. She is caring and compassionate. None of us have ever felt rushed or unimportant. On the contrary, she goes above and beyond to make you feel heard and seen. She is incredibly responsive and quick to answer questions or talk via email, even outside of sessions. On more than one occasion, she has also gone above and beyond to rearrange things to accommodate our schedule when it has been limited. She truly wants us to be successful. Additionally, she is down to Earth and makes adults and children feel comfortable, validated and important. Moreover, Erica has an amazing ability to incorporate the most appropriate amount of humor into her work, which is so difficult to do in therapy, but so important to make everyone comfortable. A little bit of humor, a whole lot of kindess and patience, is a must in a therapist, I believe. She also holds people accountable in the most respectful way. I could go and on, but I am truly grateful for Erica and Lake Cook Behavioral Health for all of their help. Erica has been one of the best things to happen to our family in some incredibly challenging circumstances. She has been beyond helpful, compassionate and truly amazing to my entire family.

Went there for mental health and they told me my copay was $15. Then they tell me to seek help somewhere else because what I’m going through is too extreme. A month later I get a call saying I owe $215 when I already settled my account and paid for everything! Do not go here they will take your money and send you somewhere else I do not recommend using Emily Krouse or going to this establishment for help. Please go somewhere for your own mental health so you don’t end up frustrated like me after losing your girlfriend and child due to erotic pregnancy and you seek help and this is what I get?!?! Am never going to consoling again will deal with my problems on my own it saves money and mental frustration.
