List of Linden Oaks Behavioral Health - Naperville Main Inpatient Campus's Reviews
This hospital has been abusing clients for decades. Everyone who wrote a negative Google review should get together and sue. This hospital should not continue to get away with taking advantage of vulnerable people looking for help.
I was on the EDP unit. The covid protocol was followed strictly. It was a small group. Staff cared so much for us and our Ed recovery and you could feel it! If you or a loved one need inpatient eating disorder treatment ID highly recommend! The psychiatrist (Dr. Ahmari) was phenomenal!! My dietician and therapist were great and truly set you up for success upon discharge to your next steps!!
My son was admitted to inpatient here about a month ago. He went in at 4:00 am on a Thursday so basically he didn't start active treatment until Friday due to the intake process. They said he would be there for about 5-10 days. I received a call Sunday morning stating that they wanted to discharge him which would have been his 3rd day. I really feel that he was churned out as quickly as possible due to perhaps a staffing shortage. To make matters worse, he was kicked out of the PHP outpatient program for something that they later found out and admitted to be untrue. In short, my son did not get the care he needed and deserves.VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
I went here in hopes that it would be a positive experience but in the long run it was a horrible
We arrived at 11pm with my daughters Jack and Jill. They said there was a shift change and the wait could be 2hrs. We have to put our phones in a locker, so instead I gave mine to Jill to wait in the car. We were shown to the waiting room and completed paperwork. They told us to knock on one of the doors if we need something. I fell asleep watching some horrible HGTV show. When I awoke, the clock was nearing 2am. I thought the clock must be wrong and waited. As 2:40 rolled around, I knocked on the doors. Nothing. I tried for five minutes. Nothing. I went back to wait. The supervisor came in, and I asked to leave. They refused to let us leave because I had indicated Jack was a suicide risk. I went back to wait again. After 30min I was becoming very angry and knocked again. Nothing. Eventually the evaluator walked past. I asked about the time and found it was accurate. We had been in the waiting room for 4h. Jill had been in the car for 4h, alone, at night. At that point I lost my cool. They called the police when I suggested breaking the door. The police were nice and asked, "just wait a little long". An easy thing to say but essentially meaningless. I had zero bargaining power. They said they'd go find Jill. Coincidentally, she was at the front door because she too was confused. They let Jill in and said it would be 5 more minutes. We waited another hour before someone saw Jack. Then it was another hour before they said she could leave. My wake up alarm was going off in the locker as I signed the release paperwork. The evaluator said this was a common problem because they're short staffed at night. All they had to do was give a realistic estimate and disclose they weren't prepared to handle incoming patients. They claimed to be open but in truth were not. Instead, they locked us in a room with no visibility and no accountability. I will never trust my children or my own liberty with a mental health professional again.
I've been here many times and loved it, I get resistant to meds quite often so every now and then I need a stay to get my meds completely readjusted, but the care I get here is top notch and I am shocked by all these bad reviews. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone needing helpPs the food is amazing

This facility has no human compassion for their patients. Their intake clerk sat on our information for hours while I waited to tell us that their business office has closed, to go home and call me back in the morning. Really! We were there for help, only to be told to go home. That would not have worked. The nurse in the ER helped us and without his help We would probably may not be here at all. Their office staff doesn’t care their nursing staff doesn’t care and their clerical staff doesn’t care. Do not go there, do not refer anybody there, and do not even suggest that anybody go there. They should be closed down.
I took my child here on two occasions recently. At the first appointment in Hinsdale, she left hysterical and felt like the woman who was assessing her was making faces and Judging her and we got nothing out of it at all. The second trip to the main hospital in Naperville was a waste of time. We waited for over 3 hours with our things locked up in a locker. We didn’t even end up having the assessment done. I should’ve listened to people (professional therapists even) who don’t recommend going here. I felt like sitting there so long in the waiting rooms hearing all these doors slam shut could cause someone to go crazy.
i hated it here i hope you all know you treated me horribly i hope you know i’ve ruined your reputation single handedly your welcome don’t know how you all live with yourselves i hope you people have nightmares at night and that you all get horrifying sleep paralysis and that your kids never love you and that you all stay virgins for life i wish nothing but the worst on you people goodnigjt i will be back in the morning to expose you again

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
