Had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Goodwin this week. I had been experiencing symptoms of heart problems since 5/23. Had a battery of tests and scans and 2 frightening episodes that landed me in the ER. This week I was blessed to have Dr Goodwin consult with me. He suggested we do an angiogram to be sure there were no issues and to set a baseline moving forward. Frightening for sure but he literally saw the panic in my face and within 15 minutes he had my procedure started. Thankfully he detected an unusual heart spasm during the procedure. He was thorough with follow up tests and I am now on new meds that will likely prevent a stroke/heart attack. He cautioned me to never ignore symptoms as women are more likely to have silent issues. Dr. Goodwin was proactive and had an awesome bedside manner! If you are looking for an awesome cardiologist…pick Dr. Goodwin!
