List of MIchele C Carney's Reviews
Did a econfirm when I went in. Apparently they are not synced with Duly. Waited for an hour to be called in and then I was told they are not connected. I went to see the doctor because of a medical condition. The staff was so reckless that they ignored my state and asked to reschedule. I should have seen other reviews before I made an appointment
Do not see her for pelvic pain. Another doctor quickly realized I needed surgery and this was something that Michelle told me I just needed to “take three Ibuprofen” to fix.
Dr. Carney is fantastic! As someone who is high risk, she made me feel completely at ease with my pregnancy. She is extremely knowledgeable and is always willing to answer any questions you have. I would HIGHLY recommend this doctor!
I would give negative stars if that’s an option. The front desk receptionist was really irresponsible and unprofessional, specially when it was my first visit at this location. I arrived 20mins before my scheduled appointment @ 9:30am as they instructed while completed echeck in online. I drove 2 hours for this visit while taking a day off at work. She looked at my insurance and stated “we don’t take Medicaid for new patient, here is the number you can call and go see someone else”. I explained to her multiple times that at the time when I made this appointment about 3 months ago they told me they take Medicaid. 15 mins later she said we do take it but you don’t have a referral from PCP, I explained I was not informed I would need one. Her and the assistant who showed up to help her with this matter stated “it’s not our responsibility to let you know about referral need” I insisted I can pay out of pocket if that’s the case as I have waited for this appointment for a long time! But they told me it’s already 9:30am and we can’t let you see the doctor now. I was really upset that they wasted all the time while I showed up on time providing enough time for paper work and they also received my PCP referral by 9:30am as my primary was nice enough to send it immediately. They told me to wait for few mins and will check on something but 9:45am both ladies said again “it’s too late we can’t let you see the doctor and telling about referral need is not our responsibility”. This was my first experience with this terrible service. You don’t plan to go to doctor for fun, I would avoid a visit if I could specially during COVID. I was very disappointed as they didn’t let me see the doctor and rescheduled for September instead ( that only too cause I insisted, front desk old nurse was not ready to reschedule either). Such a shame for all the money we pay and get rewarded with absolute BS and no one actually bother to fix patient’s issue at this location.
I’m not one to leave reviews but felt it was very necessary in this case. I had a horrible experience with Dr. Carney and I agree she has no bedside manner. She wanted to quickly fix my problem and have me out of the room ASAP. I politely asked for further screening before I took any medication and she was visibly annoyed. While I was waiting for the scheduler, I heard Dr. Carney say I was the first patient that’s ever refused the medication. I made sure I told the scheduler I heard what the Dr. said about me. Being a first time patient is never easy and this practice did not make me feel welcome at all.
Every time I spend 2 hours there for nothing. I did wait 1,5 hours last time for doctor to came in. Nobody check am I ok for that time, not even told me that I need to wait that long. They accept patients and she cant handle that much.Front desk is terrible. Let see how is gonna be next few visits.... Update: Now in 2019 situation is little different. Doctor is much better, but still some issues with the stuff. They called me to cancel anual due to insurance, they told me i need to see my PCP for papa test every 3 years. That is not true because I talk to Dr. Carney and she tells me that I can see her every year for anual exam. So, i still like Dr.Carney but not the rest in that office.
Dr. Carney is amazing! She cares about her patients and she is extremely knowledgeable. I trust her and know she has my best interest at hand. She is the best OBGYN that I've ever had and you wont go wrong with Dr Carney. I use to drive over and hour to see her for my visits and now I am happy I moved closer. Thank you Dr Carney for caring for me :). Oh she also delivered my daughter 14 years ago when she was 2 years fresh out of med school , I remember LOL and she was amazing then too! Keep up the fantastic work Dr Carney!!!!!
I have nothing but nice things to say about dr carney she did not deliver my first son which I ended up getting a c-section. I expressed my concerns about having more then one c-section and she told me that she didnt see a problem with me having a v-back with my next son. I was very lucky that she delivered my second son cause she knew how I felt. I was able to have him vaginally. Then I was lucky to have her deliver my 3rd son and now I'm pregnant and hoping she's the one how delivers this one.
I would like to say that I have nothing but nice things to say about dr carney. I have had the opportunity to have dr carney deliver my second and third son. The doctor who delivered my first son ended up doing a c-section which was not my plan but it is what it is when I saw dr carney afterwards I told her my concerns about having another c-section and how I wanted to do a v-back. After she looked at my history she told me that I should not have any problems with a v-back. She knew how I felt and I was very lucky that when my second son was born that she was the doctor that was on call she made sure that I was able to deliver my son vaginally. And then again I was lucky to have her deliver my third son and now I'm pregnant again and I'm crossing my fingers that I will be lucky to have her deliver my next child. I'm not sure why anyone would write something bad about her she was willing to do what it takes to make me happy. I have never received a bad service from her. To anyone who did have a bad experience, give her another try she is hands down an awesome doctor and you will be very happy with her.
I would never visit her again and doesn't recommend to others.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
