Went to ER, after being constipated for 3 1/2 days. Dr.Schubert walked in and to my dismay I recognized her from a time before when she treated my daughter, where, she was rude, dismissive, and uninterested. Again same thing with me. She didn't care about how I was feeling said she could not do anything for me, except "do an abdominal CT to cover my..." paused mid sentence and said "oh I mean to check you" Basically she just did it to cover her A$$ !!! What a horrible doctor, no compassion whatsoever. And did nothing to help resolve my constipation!! Went there on 6/10/23 still having complications on 7/2/23!!! Time for her to retire or go into research!!!

I went into ER at Edwards Elmhurst with chest pains due to COVID. Nancy came in and did not show any interest in my health. Ordered an x-ray and left the room. After the x-ray was done she can back…didn’t engage…looked at the screen and said “you are fine” and left the room without giving me the opportunity to seek any medical advice. She showed no compassion or sense of care…almost made me feel like my health was not important and that I was wasting her time by being there. horrible experience and I hope the hospital does some re-training with her.

Dr Schubert saw me in Edward ER for a possible stroke. After several tests and conversations, she drew some blood. She said she did not think I had a stroke, but said she had a hunch I had something else wrong.. She said she would call me the next day after getting the results. She called and informed me that I had Myasthenia Gravis. I have had treatment for the MG and my symptoms have mostly resolved. Thank you Dr Schubert!!!

My husband was at Edward ER this past Saturday and he, unfortunately, had her as his doctor and she did not want to interact with him. SHE HAD ABSOLUTELY, ABSOLUTELY NO PATIENCE NOR COMPASSION for his care. STICK TO RESEARCH, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH PATIENTS!

Went into the ED last night for a severely lacerated finger (cut through the flexor tendon) and Dr Schubert took great care of me. She was calming, direct, and had just enough good humor to keep things from feeling too serious. I felt like a person, not a patient. I hope not to return any time soon, but it’s good to know she’s there if I do.

ER DO @ Edward Hospital. Jumps to conclusions, did NOT listen or take the time to understand situation. Interrupts, minimizes & belittles what you are going through. Would NEVER recommend her to anyone. Needs to learn how to communicate. I wouldn't even give this DO a star, but would not allow submission unless one was checked

I was treated by Dr. Shubert a few years ago in the ED and then my daughter was treated by her this May. Dr Shubert is caring, friendly and down to earth. She takes her time with you and makes you feel as if you are her only patient. She followed up on my daughter the following day and went out of her way to help my daughter avoid getting her blood drawn again. Edward Hospital is blessed having her on staff.

Er was busy that night but I was attended to by Dr. Schubert & she was VERY professional & even followed up with me several days after my visit & a week after .
