List of Nancy Thomas's Reviews
Dr Nancy and her practice are a scam and do not care about you or your child. I brought my 9 month old baby for her regular checkup. At the front desk when when they asked their covid questionnaire, I was honest with them and told them that although I’m sure my child didn’t have covid she did have flu like symptoms which stopped a week prior. I disclosed this information to be respectful of the staff and patients safety. If they chose to send me home and schedule another time or taken extra PPE I would have totally understood. However they took me in, and the doctor Nancy Thomas came in. She continued to talk about covid EXTENSIVELY, telling me I could go get a covid test for my daughter for my knowledge. Anyways I didn’t think anything of it. A few weeks later we’re slapped with a bill of $100 for a respritory check I assumed it was just a misunderstanding so I called the office to try to have the charge cleared. It’s been almost a 8 months constant back and forth and they’ve stopped responding. I told them multiple times that information was disclosed for their safety and protocol but we haven’t gotten anywhere. I truly think they’re the type of practice who is corrupt and will bill insurance anything and everything to make money. For those of use who don’t have good insurance pay the cost of their corrupt practices. Please save yourself the headache, they don’t care about you, your child, your finances. They’re just in the business of making money at all costs.
Dr Wang was very sensitive to my situation after being hospitalized for Urinary issues. She treated me with great respect, honesty and kindness. I'm terrified of needles and procedures I don't know; so when she started to replace my catheter, Dr Wang walked me through the process to help ease my fears (was a nightmare when ER Dr put it in).Dr Wang was exceptional, and I highly recommend her!
Treated for a painful unhealed saddle sore from cycling. Dr. Pham-Thomas biopsied it. She didn't discuss other options and didn't give me any post procedure instructions. She said results back in 5-6 days and I should be fine in a week. It's a week later and my sore is worse. Checked for results yesterday and saw post procedure instructions for the first time. Having issues (oozing), wrote her yesterday morning, haven't heard back. At this point, the "fix" was much worse than the problem. I am a cyclist (Coach, Co-director for Tours, and Ride Leader) that leads four rides a week and am scheduled to lead a tour in France at the end of May. I cannot even sit on a normal seat now without pain. While she did say I shouldn't ride for a week (and I haven't), we are now at a week and the sore hasn't even begun to heal and I have no idea of when I'll be able to get on my bike. This is my profession. Had I known the biopsy would take this long to heal and lay me up for this length of time, I would have elected to have it done after I completed all the tours I'm supposed to lead. I am beyond frustrated, especially at her lack of professionalism in not responding to my email.

I didn't even know it was possible to rate doctors on Yelp but this OB had such a profound impact on me since my last visit that I thought I'd write an honest review on my last experience 6 years ago when I was still a patient at PAMF. It was because of the last experience that I switched to Kaiser when I started working full time. She was my first OBGYN when I was when I was a teenager and I had nothing but neutral experiences with her up until my last appointment. As a young adult, you'd think that you could trust your OB with advice on birth control options but I beg of any young girl to please avoid this woman. Not only was she condescending, she actually laughed at me when I asked her questions about the pill as though I was stupid. It's a pretty traumatizing experience for a young woman to be laughed at by her own doctor when asking questions that should be safe to ask your health provider. I didn't see her, much less another OBGYN for another 4 years because of that and was glad I found my current one at Kaiser who doesn't make me feel bad about myself the way that Dr. Pham-Thomas did. I'm sure she's a fine doctor but she's got a condescending, rude, & elitist demeanor about her because of her profession and truly doesn't seem like a nice individual you could entrust so I'd avoid her if possible if you are a patient at PAMF.
I am from Michigan and have zero experience with any physicians here in central CA. I also have no locals that I know to be able to ask a question about any physicians either. So this was a shot in the dark and I was pleasantly surprised at the politeness of Dr Pham-Thomas. She was pleasant and very down to earth. I know her reviews on here are negative but I feel as though this may be a situation where only the bad experiences are being published and the good experiences were not rated by patients. I will be going back and hope to conceive my 3rd soon! She was concerned with irregularities of my cycle and told me if I didn't conceive in 2-3 months, she would do a ovulation induction. In my last 2 pregnancies I struggled to conceive and never had any one offer to help through an induction like that. I'm excited to work with her and have her on my side!
HORRIBLE practice. Be well prepared to WAIT upwards of an hour in a waiting room full of sick kids...no separate area for sick/well visits. Front end staff are rude, condescending and completely incompetent. Nurses are quick, judgmental and even at points mean. Shots are scary and painful to kids and they make ZERO effort to make it easier of them. The managment cares only for $$$ and because they have 1000s of kids your is just a dollar sign. I would HIGHLY recommend never going here! This once small reputable practice has completely lost sight of medicine only to rake in the money.
I went to see her for my chronic pelvic pain and after listening to me for 30 seconds, she concluded I didn't have an issue that she was concerned with and then asked me verbatim "but did you want me to touch you down there?" I was completely shocked and taken aback at how unprofessional she was and never once did she show compassion. I would NOT recommend her to anyone and like other Yelpers have already mentioned, please run and look for another Ob/gyn with better star reviews; save yourself the embarrassment from meeting someone like her.
Do not go to her. She will wast your time and not ever go the extra mile for you. Her assistant is not helpful either. I was trying to get my prior reports and images, sent many messages and left voicemails, never even helped me out. I'm so done with PAMF all together.
I would give 0 stars if i could... this "Doctor" broke my son's arm at birth and didn't even realized she did!!! I found out because my baby would cry everytime we changed his clothes and had to move his arm. Then, i took him to the pediatritian and after doing an x ray they saw that the arm was fractured. My baby was 3 days old! Due to this, my son had prolonged jaundice that was very high at one point. This caused our family so much stress when it should have been a joyful time instead because of the first days of a baby's life. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone. Run if you can... my doctor was not available at the time of delivery so this person had to deliver my son, sadly. And just like other reviewer said, she did not communicate much, did not care about me being in pain... very plain and uncommunicative... people like this, without vocation should not be doctors at all...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
